Just grabbed BitTrip Saga and Layton Miracle Mask on the eShop.

I swore I wouldn't do this... damnit, NOA.

Edit: Also grabbed Crimson Shroud.

Went nuts on the eShop. Kirby's Block Ball, Mole Mania, Wario Land 2. Might go back for Bit. Trip. Saga. and maybe Mutant Muds. The demo for MM is super good.

Never played Mole Mania before. It's fucking awesome.

Definitely go buy Mutant Mudds. It's the best game I've played this year.

Well, the eShop got me.  Downloaded escapeVektor and Crimson Shroud tonight, while saving some credit for Fluidity Spin Cycle... and maybe Mutant Mudds or Crashmo?  Not sure about the last ones yet.

I would argue that Mutant Mudds and Crashmo are the two best games on the service. I can't recommend them enough. I'm in the middle of my fourth play through of Mutant Mudds.

I love that game, but that's just overkill.

I just never get tired of it. It could be a lot more than four at this point if I didn't have so many other things to play. The only other game like that for me is Mario 3, which I once beat 100% for the third time in less than a week and promptly started up a new file.

SMB3 I can understand. I've lost count of how many times I've completed that game. Let's be honest though, Mutant Mudds does not have anywhere near as much variety as SMB3. Mutant Mudds does a handful of things really well and over the course of the game it asks the player to utilise those mechanics to overcome increasingly difficult level designs, but the game is pretty much the same from start to finish (imo).

Regardless, I would recommend that everyone buy Mutant Mudds because it's a fantastic platformer (just not 'four times in 11 months' fantastic).  :P:

I'm worried that Mutant Mudds won't have any replay value for me. The demo was cute enough, but really boring. Definitely on the fence.

The demo for Mutant Mudds did not grab me. It was OK, but it failed to sell me on why the game is good (yet alone good enough to 100% multiple times).

I realize I'm probably the game's biggest fan. Yes, it doesn't have that much variety (until the Grannie levels, which I'd argue really change up the gameplay), but it has really solid mechanics and excellent level design. It may sound odd, but I find the game very relaxing to play (except the very last level, which can go **** itself), and it's a great thing to play for me just to unwind.

Also picked up Dust an Elysian Tale as well :0.

Nabbed Walking Dead (Steam) and Dragon Age Origin's UE (Steam) even though my backlog this generation alone is nearing 100+.

Picked up Dragon Age Origins UE on Steam as well as Torchlight II (got the four pack and am giving copies to three friends so we can all play together).  Picking up the Humble Bundle 7 as well.

Got de Blob 2 for PS3 as well.

I picked up Painkiller: Hell and Damnation the other day on Steam, during a Flash Sale for 50% off. I also had a coupon from Alienware for an additional 50% off. The coupon can be acquired here if interested. You have to sign up for an Alienware account, but don't actually have to be dumb enough to own an Alienware. :)

Anyway... the game is pretty awesome so far. Plot wise, it is a continuation of the previous Painkiller games. It returns us to the original protagonist though, seemingly avoiding many references to any others that have since followed. The odd thing is while this may be a sequel plot-wise, it's a reimagining of the first game (and it's expansion pack) as far as the levels are concerned. Not all of the levels from the original game make an appearance, but most of the truly standout locals do.

What's more, the game feels great. It's fast, it has perfect strafe-jumping physics, the weapons are insanely powerful and over the top. It's what Painkiller has always been. It's almost sad that not having a weapon limit, regenerating health, iron sights, and a bunch of bland weapons are features. There's a reason the original Painkiller was a favorite among professional cyber athletes. Aside from Quake, it doesn't get too much more hardcore.

Got Portal and Portal 2. I've been wanting to buy these games for a long time, but my previous 2007 Macbook didn't meet the game's requirements. I last played the first one on my friend's computer 5 years ago and I helped him through the later half of the second one in early 2011. So most of the puzzles still felt new and fresh.

$10 total or $10 each? Either way it's a good deal, though.

I'm still baffled that Nano Assault (made by German developer Shin'en) was never actually released in Europe. I look forward to buying the EX version when it finally comes to the eShop, but the fact that it has taken this long is kind of weird.

(Each. The post above was edited to clarify.)

Very happy with that price, as it puts both games into impulse buy territory. I know they've been cheap online for a while, but shipping fees (to Canada, for a small order) always killed the deal for me.

Also happy to find a retail copy of Nano Assault. Haven't been looking that hard, but it's been a long time since noticing the game on shelves anywhere. Forgot that an EX version was coming to the eShop, but would much rather own retail anyway.

Going by my Email logs that would be Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion on the Steam Sale. Other games from that sale are Ace of Spades, Forge, GRRRFACE (Ghost Recon Future Soldier), Binary Domain and Payday Wolfpack DLC.

Zero: Tsukihami no Kamen (aka: Fatal Frame 4)

So my imported game arrived over the holidays, but the patch didn't work as expected out of the box. Took at little bit of trial and error... but now it's up and running in English. Very excited about this.
