Xenoblade Chronicles will receive a definitive edition release on Switch in 2020. The original 2010/11/12 Wii release appears to be a simultaneous worldwide release for the remastered version.

So why isn't anyone commenting on the graphics? Cuz these look like different textures. Not uprez-ed. Completely redone.
Is this an HD remake? Or HD remaster?

I'm guessing they reworked everything using the improved engine from XC2 Torna. Looks like some cut content from the original is getting fleshed out and added back in. I never finished the original, so it does tempt me to pick this one up.
Hoping we get Xenoblade Chronicles X after this to complete the collection.
