I partially agree. Cheap and light beers are disgusting, but there are some of the more expensive ones I like okay. But none of them compare to a strawberry daiquiri. Now that's a tasty drink.

Anything with rum is a winner in my book. Though I enjoy a good quality beer. I am partial to ales.

I've been perusing the boards for a couple of hours, and I see that things do seem a bit slow. I don't have a handle on the forums just yet, still trying to learn the ropes. But the fact remains that I wanted a new place to post. I've been getting really sick of the anti-Nintendo attitude so many websites and communities have adopted, and out of my Nintendo-centric podcasts, I liked RFN the best, so I figured I'd give this place a shot. I like how the topics in the game forums are separated by game name, which is a real change coming from IGN.

I'm not a guy who was ever upset about the Gamecube's "kiddie" image, but man, the vitriol about the Wii is plain absurd.

As far as Bud goes, I do like it quite a bit, and if I wanted cheap beer, I'd go for Natty or something. My favorite type of beer is Irish Red, and I try any I come across. Killian's is still king, but Lienenkugel (SP

) is really good too.

Also this place isn't really any slower then usual though those of us who participate are pretty consistent about it. It isn't that hard to get acceptance either, Mop_it_up and Stratos both are pretty new and now fit right in (Even though Stratos is a goober and Mop_it_up loves Birdo).

I think it was 10 years ago that I stopped visiting their forums. Yeah, it was 10 years. Glad I didn't stick around there. GameFaqs started following in their quality footsteps just a couple years later.

You should go to gamefaqs/gonintendo, they are so much better then NWR. The users are the the epitome of sophistication, intelligence, and respectful discourse.

Grantimus, good call on the Irish Red. And don't worry about learning the ropes. I'm sure you'll be fine if you keep posting in a responsible manner. Consistency helps, too (which is something I've had trouble with due to work and hobbies/social excursions).
