Hi all. I've been a long time lurker and podcast listener. By long time I mean since before planetGamecube back when Billy and Louie the Cat participated actively on site content.
I finally decided to sign up for the forums.

A quick noob question though: the forum help section says bbc code is allowed in your sig, but I can't get it to work. I placed the desired code in the box and it says it's not permitted. What is allowed and not allowed in the sig then?
I wanted to place an image from my backloggery account.

I don't think you can have images in signatures.If you type an link that goes to the image than I believe that is allowed.Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Right now all I've got with online play is Brawl and - surprise, surpsrise - it hasn't given me a quality experience online so far.

I'm interested in playing something with some of you all, though. The Conduit isn't too far away...

His Router is fine, it is the junkie Brawl servers XD

THere are many games with good servers out there, mario kart, Medal of Honor 2, and soon the conduit XD

Yeah, I tried messing with my router settings, but couldn't get it to work (I guess I am just a n0rb). I'll probably start my real online Wii gaming with The Conduit, then.

I know! I enjoyed the original MK and loved MK64. Double Dash!! didn't look as interesting to me, but I gave it a full weekend's rental when it came out and just didn't feel blown away by it. Mario Kart Wii looked like an improvement over the last one, but I was already occupied with Brawl by the time it came out. For whatever reason, I just haven't picked it up yet. Maybe some day I will...

Buy it. Nao. Not owning the best game on Wii is BLASPHEMY in my book.
I was never really into the Mario Kart series, and these days MKWii is about the only one which I like. If it can have that affect on a non-fan, it must be good!

I don't own it either. I haven't bought many 1st party Wii games yet. Too many interesting 3rd party game are holding my interest right now. I only own Brawl, Fire Emblem and Wario Land. Though a friend of mine has considered selling his Wii and I've claimed first dibs on his extra controllers and games such as Mario Kart.

It was $10 off on Amazon. Plus MKWii doesn't need me running out to help boost sales. Some other games need a sales boost now and may not be in stores later unlike MKWii or AC:CF which are assured a long shelf life.

I'm kind of a game sales crusader. Thats why I have fourteen 3rd party games and only three 1st party ones.

Well, I suppose that's... commendable, I guess. But... I don't think that anything you buy from Amazon is going to count towards a game's sales at retail. Besides, don't you think you should buy a game that's awesome regardless of its total sales?

Seriously I would have to say TP or Mario Galaxy. But really the Wii has quite a few stellar games so it is hard to choose (and yes I'd include MK Wii somewhere on that list).

Ditto... except for the borrowing from a friend part. I'll have to rent it and see. The next time there's a Wi-Fi Night with MK Wii around here, I'll try to get in on it.
