Is August 02-03 Nintendo's Greatest Year in (Overall) Software Releases?

I was thinking about the GameCube after this thread was created and realized that right now, the GameCube is the sort of perfect middle era of Nintendo in North America right now. NES was 1985. 16 years later and you get 2001 and the launch of the GameCube. 2022 and you subtract 16 years then you get 2006 and the end of the GameCube with the launch of the Wii. Those middle 5 years of 2001 - 2006 mostly make up the GameCube era. But pretty soon, this perfect balance of time will be undone so enjoy this period in which GameCube is the link between Nintendo's current past and present.
