You must train ALL the amiibo Figure Players. Money is no object in the face of that goal!

Train the Amiibo figures? No, no. Taking them out of the packaging is not an option. What a silly proposal.

Pfft, he doesn't even have the second GameCube adapter and 6 extra GameCube controllers. Casual.

I do have the (seven) GameCube controllers from my GameCubes.  I did consider adding that to the price though.

In reality, you need 8 3DS systems and the 99 cent app that lets you use your 3DS as a Smash controller.  That's how real men play. ;)

Train the Amiibo figures? No, no. Taking them out of the packaging is not an option. What a silly proposal.

That's why you need two of each amiibo.  So, double that price.

The next arc of The Ten will be addressing this Amiibo silliness.

No you need 3 of each amiibo so you can have two of each type train against eachother.

Funnily enough, I'll bet some people would still buy Smash Bros. if the game actually did cost about $1,000.

Please! Even I wouldn't pay that much!

Not without a free collectors poster anyway.

On a serious note, since I don't own SSB it would be nice if Nintendo offered some sort of special edition with all of the DLC already included for late adopters.  Buying the game new and then all the DLC (not including the Amiibo stuff) to get all the characters and stages effectively doubles the price of the game.  "Game of the Year" editions with DLC included are pretty typical... which means that Nintendo will probably never do it.

It's too hard to read that list.  It wasn't put in alphabetical order.  If you're going to point out the prices, at least make it easier to read.

Phew. I sure am glad I got out of the amiibo game relatively early. II still have a **** ton of them and I enjoy them, but I was getting characters I don't even particularity like that much just for the sake of getting them. Now I'm more selective and try to get amiibo I really love or if I can get 'em on sale.

So you've only spent $500 on Smash?

Lol.  It's mostly the order of the Character Selection Screen. ;)

I have definitely made some questionable Amiibo purchases in my time, however I think that the majority of those I own are the characters I really love. And a few others for iconography's sake.

All of my Super Smash Bros. Amiibo are questionable purchases. Since I haven't opened any of them, I bought them all because "they look cool." I use all the characters I own the Amiibo for except Famicom Colors ROB. I purchased that one strictly for decorative purposes and because I didn't have to buy the three-pack with the Amiibo I didn't want.

I didn't buy all the Amiibo for characters I use. I can't justify Pac-Man and Ganondorf, both of whom I only select for trolling. Pac-Man's ass-chomping down throw and the entirety of Ganondorf offer limitless disrespect.

I bought mine just because I like the characters too. I haven't taken them out of the packaging, but that's just because I can't figure out where I want to put them. I have no real desire to use them in the game.
