Hopped on EBay out of curiosity lately and it looks like if you're not really particular about which amiibo card you get they cost anywhere between $2-$4 each. It'd probably be too much stress hullabaloo to try to sell my duplicates on the open  market like that, I'd rather just keep them for now.

To be honest I don't know much about card valuation as I've always just been a buyer. The furthest I've ever gotten is just to check EBay and see what people there think the market can bare for a particular card.

For example, I checked a couple top sponsored search results on EBay and a "single" specific North American card seems to go for:
Lottie 017 - $4-6 USD
Phil 057 - $9-20 USD
Eunice 081 - $7-20 USD

GOOD GRIEF!!! I don't know why Phil and Eunice can command such a high price on EBay, are they super popular amongst people who want to show off islands or something?

Of course, these are EBay "Buy Now" prices, so I don't know how real they are (maybe the real price is lower and all those are sold out, or maybe EBay didn't want to show me the lowest prices?).

Finally, you've got the JPN version of the cards. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but the game itself doesn't care it's the JPN version, Amiibo Cards are region free so functionally i's the same. If people are buying to have a complete NA collection instead of just to play the game with that'll probably put them off and drive the price down?

On top of that I honestly don't know how I'd even begin to sell the cards I DO have if I did decide to try that.

I learned how to make my own amiibo cards. Easy enough if you have an Android phone with NFC. I bought some of the blsank NFC stickers and write to them and they work just fine so far.

First of all, I still need #39 Spike Welcome Amiibo to complete the previous Amiibo cards. Then there's the fact that I didn't realize these had released until I started seeing people trying to sell packs at a high price on the used market. Then it turns out retailers would only let you buy three packs at the most which is redonkulous since the first Amiibo trading cards never had that restriction. How are you supposed to get all the cards with that in place?!?  :P  >:( Then I saw this morning that Best Buy was showing stock online saying ready to ship but despite clicking the link and refreshing the add-to-cart button would never be allowed and now I see they show as being out of stock again. This whole thing has been terrible and a real kick in the groin!!  :'( >:(
Whoever said, "Cheaters never win" must've never met Khushrenada.

I got two packs from Target the morning they opened.  A third from Amazon, a fourth from a co-worker who ordered me one from Amazon, two more from Nintendo's webstore.... then 20 more packs when I lucked into Target getting a restock.  Through a few trades and a couple of eBay purchases...

Mission complete.  Do you love me yet, Nintendo?

Ew. Why would you get New Leaf or New Horizons physically?

If it helps, I also have New Leaf digitally. :D

If it isn't obvious by the copious amount of physical stuff I have, I am a firm Physical > Digital camper.
