Announcements:

Results:

Hypotheliciously (Townie) - Killed by Vote
Decoyman (Townie) - Killed by Mafia

Yes, the mafia offed Chibi-Robo. Normally, I'm rooting for the mafia but killing Chibi-Robo is a bridge too far. Your hearts are coal!

Decoyman has a pokeball that he has taken with him to the great beyond.

Voting ends at Midnight EST as usual.

There is nothing else to announce that I can think of.

Didn't vote yesterday...and because Khush won't tell us about items being given out we don't know if Hypotheliciously was telling the truth about the Smash Ball.

I am going to go ahead and vote for an inactive player seeing as we need all the active players alive at this point.

Next Smash Game.

Random votes don't count because of tripping.  That vote is deleted by the moderator, and the player must actively pay attention and re-vote.

Yes just like Brawl...breaking the game, by adding something meaningless.

So yeah... I don't think this game is going to end well. Regarding Mop staying alive: if the mafia don't post, the item doesn't matter - in fact, in that case using the item would actively hurt townies. Otherwise, if Mop is mafia then we are screwed regardless. It'll be interesting to see who is/isn't active today, and who ends up dying.

Oh well.  Time for an old fashioned pile-on. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to receive an item for my lack of deductive effort.

un-Smash (Vote) Stevey

That said, nickmitch's late Hypo vote makes no sense to me. I'm not sold on the idea that losing Hypo was inevitable, and if he stayed alive then nabbing the item would have been very difficult for the mafia to pull off successfully. What am I missing that helps make sense of that vote?

Interesting fact of the day: everyone who has followed one of my votes has ended up dead, except Mop who also gained an item last night.  Hmmm...

I've thought it over. I still don't trust nickmitch, whose piling on Hypo made it easier for mafia and saved Ceric at the end of the day yesterday. I also don't trust Ceric or Stratos.  Stevey is a non-participating wild card, while the rest I kinda sorta trust despite having no good reasons.

Ceric has minimal participation and his only voting record so far is one retaliation vote against me.  Everyone other than me who voted Ceric is now dead - either as a ploy to frame him, or as retaliation.

Until someone posts a reason to change, I'm sticking with the same move as yesterday: Vote Ceric

Very keen to see what Mop has to say/do today.

Charizard always said that actions had consequences but there's one action of his that he never told you about...

Years ago The Amiibo Project was established in an attempt to create the ultimate warrior.

These amiibo were based off of various warriors who had fought in previous Smash Brothers games, Sakurai asked Charizard to help train these warriors in return for a place in the next Smash Brothers game, charizard agreed, unaware of the horrors he would soon face.

The Link Amiibo, dubbed Megabyte had become the most powerful of them all, began to go on a rampag,  killing it's fellow amiibo along with anyone else, such as the Ice Climbers or Snake, who got in his way.

The fox amiibo sought help from the bowser amiibo but even together they were easily overcome

When Charizard learned of what had happened he rushed to aid the remaining amiibo but even with his help they were no match for Megabyte. He also sought help from his old trainer but even with their combined power they were also defeated.

In one last desperate move squirtle and ivysaur sacrificed their lives to allow charizard to seal Megabyte away... but with no other options charizard was forced to seal Megabyte within himself.

Megabyte began to corrupt Charizard's mind, causing charizard to do join the mafia and do heinous things on their behalf. all in an attempt to get Charizard killed. and by killing charizard you have released Megabyte once again...

The day of reckoning is upon us.

Ok, long communication time.

I think Mop it Up is mafia, maybe even the godfather. After the revel on day 2 of the smash ball and the vote count they decided to sacrifice one of their own to be able to try and get the smash ball from Hypo the next day, knowing that they would have the votes to over come the mushroom no matter who got it.

Then Mop made sure to be the first to vote for Hypo to get the smash ball. The fact the Mop was not hit by the mafia last night would makes me think the mafia has it.

I'm even going to hedge a bet on Stratos being a mafia member too since the follow vote on Hypo yesterday would be a good way to back-up in case the townies could convince Mop to change the vote.

With that i will now unVote Mop It Up, I need to get out of this box more.

Suddenly, the sky grew dark. There was a low rumble that grew louder and louder until it exploded in a massive boom that caused hundreds of jagged lightning bolts to reign down hell from above on the fighters!

Piiii-CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!

The final smash of Pichu sent Roy flying out of the arena taking his Rally X Flag with him. Nuclearspeed was so shaken by the storm that his box bounced up in the air revealing him to be a townie. R.O.B. was close enough to have the electricity conduct through him shorting some of his circuits.

Final Smash damage:

Stratos (Townie) - Death by Final Smash
Nuclearspeed (Townie) - Free investigation with the result made public
Ceric - +2 votes added to him for the vote today.

I apologize to Stratos, looks like I over thought it.

I need to ask the detective to step forward and speak with me, today is our last chance. If you have been around you should have some info to share with me via pm and we can formulate a plan.

Just a thought, but maybe the Mafia didn't hit me because they wanted to frame poor little ol' me. I mean, I see how it looks for me. I was a bit surprised myself. I'm small and weak, I'm such an easy target, it's not fair! There was also no guarantee I would use the item on the Mafia (which clearly I didn't. Sorry Stratos!)

There's something I'm wondering about though. NuclearSpeed claimed to have used the Rally Flag back on day two. But we now know Stratos held that item which means it was not used. Now, what's he protecting that he would risk lying like that...?

I'm scared!

Ok, I'm willing to throw long plays out and look at the fact that townies general end up voting for other townies unless the detective finds something out, I guess Sherlock is not on this case, someone slips up or they just get lucky. So since there have been a few that haven't voted much, I'll go with the one the has voted the least but has posted the most days.
