I can't say this with any certainty, but I'm pretty sure The Russo Bros. are directing Spider-Man in 2017.

Something else we saw coming thanks to the Sony Leaks. All but guaranteed outcome at this point. Russo's are a Feige plant in the Sony camp for the next 3 years.

Latino Review thinks that rumor is bullshit, and counters with one of their own.

Drew Goddard (the guy that left Daredevil on Netflix to go write and direct Sinister Six for Sony) will now write and direct Marvel's Spider-man movie.

I have a feeling the 2nd half is gonna be even better than the 1st half. ~~X-Men~~ Inhumans in full effect. They are not holding back.

My only disappointment is that we won't get to see the beautiful Ruth Negga as Ruth Negga anymore.... :(

Agents of SHIELD is hitting on all fucking cylinders right now.

Daredevil looks to push the envelope even further. previews sound very positive.

and Age of Ultron just looks to steamroll whatever else was coming out this summer (antman better be in the cabin driving that **** home too).

Mahvel is killin' it right now.

and yet my HYPE meter for Civil War still surpasses everything I just mentioned, and it hasn't even started filming yet. I'm just thirsty for that Marvel Universe right now. it's ridiculous.

By the By, King of Prussia Mall (right outside of Philly) is putting on a 24hr Marvel marathon of all 11 movies building up to AVENGERS 2. I thinking about it but I don't think I can pull it off...but I would love to try. $65 plus free eats

Edit: This is going to happen all over the country apparently (and with Star Wars come winter)

Avengers Marathon at the house for a whole week leading up to it though might happen.

There is no theater around here with seats comfortable enough or food diverse and edible enough to pull a 24hr stretch, unless they allowed in-and-out privileges.

and this is coming from someone that used to regularly pull 3-5 movie stretches in the theater. I know from experience how hard it is just to last for 3-4 movies over 6-9hrs, and that's with outside food. 11 movies over a 24hr period is too fucking much.

I did Harry Potter for 22.5 hours. The food was horrible, the soda cup started leaking, and the repetitive movie previews were hell... but I enjoyed being able to do it.

I really hope I can talk our Royal Suite theater into doing the full marathon:

It's a pretty freakin' sweet theater. Sadly, the only thing they've shown in it since they've opened that I care about was The Hobbit. Although I've sat through Noah (the first movie they showed) and Unbroken (with family Christmas day).

No movie chain does that here, the closest is the previous movie (like with Fast & Furious, Harry Potter, Iron Man 2, Thor, etc) immediately before the midnight release of the new one.

SHIELD was pretty good this week. My only unending bug bear, now that they've dropped the cheese and awkwardness, is the art style is s drab grey all the time. Agent Carter was, in comparison, gorgeous to look at.
