If the essence of comedy is the unexpected, then this thread fails at funny.

And this is what Khush said to me...  ;-)   "Matt, all I care about are Athrun, Crash, Crimm, and Dasmos. Infernal and Pale are villagers"  Still, it doesn't change the fact that he was of the last group standing.  Good job team.

Bill, you never cease to amaze me.

Still, this was my first game, and it was enjoyable, so I fully plan on signing up for Pale's game.  Unless there is a machine gunner's apprentice, or something of the manner.  Hear that Pale?  Don't let the townies down!

Oh, thank you Mario.  I missed that!  All is well, please excuse my earlier comments.   /sarcasm

The point is, it killed an otherly very enjoyable game.  No matter the amount of explaining is going to change that fact.  I'm with Vudu though, and the next game should be strait up original mafia.  This was just dumb.

Yes Bill, but you missed at one major thing.  In the page where you listed living, dead, and living people's roles, you were noticably absent from the list.  Showing up at the end, and saying "hey I said it could be anybody" really doesn't do anything but tick people off.  Congradulations.

And here I thought I actually thought I had a chance.  I had an excel sheet all made up.  I had my guess, peoples roles, their votes... everything.  I even got people to think I was a townie (wandering at least).  I've been a huge fan of this game for years, and figured I might as well get in on some of it here.  Shame I went for cube though.  Couldn't get back to edit my vote before the cut off.  Oh well.  All's fair.

Oh, and Frozen, that is exactly the reason to not vote for yourself.  Even now, you may get people to agree with you, but the game has moved on.  Sorry dude, it does suck (and I'm sure I'd be putting up a similar argument if I were in your position), but it's past.  Just sign up next game and don't for yourself.  It's that simple.

Pale really weirds me out this game.  I'd vote for him now, but I don't want to throw out my vote.  Let's tie this up, and VOTE MARIO

Well, I may change my vote, as I would hate to vote out a fellow townie.  For now, I'm going to leave it, and see how this plays out today.  I'm so confused right now, and frankly, I'm at the party, which I referenced in the sign up thread.    I'll drop by later, and see if there are any new developments.

Yeah Pale, you aren't making my decision any harder.  Feel this as your invitation to convince me that you aren't mafia, or specialty, and I will gladly unvote you (and probably vote for mr footsteps instead).  You just seem like the most likely decision at this point.    You have a few hours left, so get to it.  ;-)

Vote Pale

Because he starts bandwagons.  Nah, I've read through the posts, and have some ideas of who is who.  I need to fend for myself here, and vote Pale.  I don't know how he slides by in every game, because in each one he is suspicious.  Now, I'm off for some fishing, who's with me?

Said on an internet gaming message board.  Period.

It's true we need some new recruits.  There is just a burning phase when you're inducted.  Or, in Ian's case, if you live here.  Stevey got it.  Rat got it.  let me in is getting it.  Stevey turned cool, Rat was turning, and rumor has it let me in is leaving.  Hmmm.

Looking good, looking good.  I noticed the change mostly in the Search box.  The word "Go" was off, and it made me check here to see if there were any changes.  I went back and noticed some other stuff happening too.  Right now, the ads aren't working.  Not that I'm complaining, just informing.

EDIT: Thursday morning everything went back to normal working land.  The red numbers of the time posted are a bit hot, but that's really my one issue.  Good job on the conversion.

I'm going to be at a weeklong party when the game starts, so I wasn't going to join.  It looks like too much fun though, and hey, we'll have the internet there, so I'm in.  Can't wait.  Cube looks awesome.  Oh yeah, how many people are on each mafia team?  I dont' think that one has gotten an answer just yet..  Other then that, looks great.

Some additions I've been waiting for have been a Metroid and Lightning Bolt to show up as items.  I know I've mentioned both before, but that was probably a year ago, or more.  I like that they've already put in Nintendogs, and I look forward to what a Chibi-Robot would do.

If the Metroid were there, I would like it to do something like 20-30 damage before returning to you, to refill that much health back.  A lightning bolt would basically be a Super Mushroom, but with a different perspective.  Everybody else gets small, and you stay, instead of everybody staying, and you getting big.  Alternitavely, it could come down in bolts, like Pika's, and shrink whoever gets hit.  Either way could work, really, although I think I prefer the second, only because it offers something different/unique.

Thinking about it more, and I've changed my opinion.  IF, and only if, certain circumstances come to pass.  Every/most characters have move altering power ups like this does to Samus, or getting the Smash Ball again gives Samus her armor back.  Zero Suit Samus would then essentially be here super power.  I could live with that.  I would still prefer having two character slots, but eh, if I had to I'd be fine with this.

Tournies would be crazy cool.  If they can get the netcode up to spec, that would just be off the hook.

The more I think about it though, the the more I become undecided about Samus having split characters.  I mean, I like the idea of having different fighting styles, but it's not like you can quickly switch back and forth between them anyway.  Samus' suit isn't pansy.  Samus' suit is butch.  Samus' suit shouldn't get blown up each time she fires a power shot.  I mean, I'm really, really stoked about have "Zamus" but not at the cost of my currently much beloved heroine.

This episode(s) just plain rocked it tonight.  Can't be more pleased.  Plenty of questions answered, and plenty more brought up.  It's great.  No spoilers here either, but suffice it to say that these next few months are going to be crazy as we wait in anticipation.

Sustained damage= Samus turns into Zero Suit Samus kinda bugs me.  I love Samus because I can play with her, frequently passing the 300 percent mark before I die.  If after 150 she changed into ZSS that would be annoying.  Now, if she used her super to transform, I'd be ok with that, depending on how much the supers really change the battle.  If one super changes the course of the round, I wouldn't like that.  But, if it say, equaled the hammer in changing the battle, that'd be fine.  Personally, I avoid the hammer (have since the original).  I see how it has potential, but I prefer to get kills "fairly" rather then use a hammer.  Besides, killing a player with a hammer is just too much fun to pass up.

The Smash Bros Dojo now has shots up of two more characters.  Zero Suit Samus and Wario.  Samus looks so cool, while Wario just plain looks fun.  If this trend continues, next week is our man Snake.

Ian, Nintendo knows this is a huge one.  If all we had were those lame phone cam pics of this game for months, I swear, the internet would implode.  I can't give an excellent reason as to why no footage or shots of games from the floor have been shown (besides the ones on Nintendo's own site, or off-screen footage), but it probably goes back to the whole "playing = believing," which is a bit different than oogling screenshots.

I can't get it out of my head that this game will be a launch title.  That is excellent news.  Good show.  This holiday I am going to be so broke it isn't even funny.  It starts with Mario next week, and just ramps all the way to the end of the year.  This year just plain rocks for Nintendo.

This is excellent news.  I'm not super stoked for this game or anything, but hearing positive news on a game that I could have cared less about just an hour ago is awesome.  This gives opportunity to a large variety of different games getting mass appeal, and I like that idea.

This is a bit dissapointing to hear.  According to Opera developers though "64mb of ram is a minimum to run a decent web browser.  The ds has 4."  The fact that it is running at all is sweet news.  Would you believe it, this is the "killer ap" for my brother though?  This and the Lite has him hooked.

I'm extremely pleased to see this posted from the browser though.  I was hoping somebody would do that, and leave it to Jonny to do just that.  :-)
