Some different selections than North America's recent lot.

Europe's line of Nintendo Selects will be hitting the Wii U next month.

The following games will be reprinted and have their digital price adjusted to €24,99/£19.99 on the 15th of April:

  • New Super Mario Bros U + New Super Luigi U (combo pack)
  • Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
  • Wii Party U
  • The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
  • LEGO City Undercover
  • Nintendo Land (not in the UK)

The Mario/Luigi U combo pack will be available for the first time standalone outside of Germany, and will replace the New Super Mario U entry on the eShop on 15 April.

Minor correction, it's Nintendo Land (not Nintendoland). Some good choices, especially Tropical Freeze.

Awesome news about the combo pack being available and affordable.

Was Lego City Undercover hard to find in Europe, like it is now in North America?  That's a game I'd love to see re-released here at a budget price also. Outside of loading times (which are inexcusably long) the game was a fantastic experience - and it made good use of the Wii U features, something few other games can really claim to do.

What is going on with Nintendo Land? So bizarre that it was removed from the US eShop. That stunt shook my faith in Nintendo's ability to handle modern digital distribution and they haven't done anything to change that perspective.

I waited for LOZOOT3D, and I can certainly wait for LOZTP HD to be on sale at that price in the coming years.
