You'll have to ask an anime nerd. I don't know **** (except for Higurashi, it started off as a visual novel kinda game and was made into a really good show, except for this new thing they made which is Really Bad)

There is hope. The anime industry isn't as big as it used to be, as soon as they realize that what they're doing to it now is the cause then they might just revert back to making good, watchable anime.

Dude, actually watch When They Cry before you decide to mock its lighter moments. The show's about a time-looping town where people are repeatedly butchered to death in increasingly nasty ways. I could do without the "comedy" episodes myself (which serve to put you off your guard when the nasty stuff comes), but the show is quite good and ends pretty spectacularly.

I have my answer. It's not very good porn at all, but oh **** this is unbelievably funny. The original Japanese dub is boring, but damn some of the scenes are just batshit insane. The English dub just takes it to where the Japanese weren't willing to go to.

Yeah your getting trolled. School Days is the opposite end of the fanservice spectrum. It's a Hentai game/series, but with the porn cut out, they max out the already over the top violence instead. So you just basically watched Guro.
