I think we all are a part of modern 3D gaming. I love 3D gaming and hope everyone there game lover might have been upgraded to 3D versions of their favorite games.

You could make an argument that we are all part of the "modern" gaming generation if we buy current games.  But even that isn't true.  The last game I bought was Shovel Knight...the reason I bought it was because it was an old school game.  Did it have some modern techniques to game design, yes, but overall I am a SNES style gamer.  Give me Super Mario World and Link to the Past over almost any game.


Nope.  3D gaming is fine, but I often prefer 2D gaming. The idea that all games need to move to 3D runs counter to my preferences - both can and should exist.
