Crysis may not be capable of being ported to the Xbox 360 but it doesn't really look it in screenshots.  It's not WAY better like we had before

You're blind.

Consoles could barely render anything in this screenshot individually, never mind at the same time. You only get levels like that in completely linear games, and even then you don't have as much stuff in the area, which is why Red Dead Redemption worked on consoles, but a game like Crysis never will. It's also why Crysis 2 is set in a city and not in the jungle.

And that's not even as good as you can MAKE it look through some simple .cfg editing and mods.

Thats heavy rendered graphics which isnt always needed, should try "thehunter" for pc, free deer hunter game which uses the just cause 2 engine.
Looks amazing and much more optimised http://pcmedia.ign.com/pc/image/article/955/955624/the-hunter-hands-on-20090220010556256-000.jpg

As for the next xbox, I think if hardware is to continue as it did in the last, what hardware we have now will most likely be whats used when xbox720 is launched in 2-3 years.
Considering a 1year old 4850 which sells on ebay for as low as 80US kills 99% of games atm, the system should have a decent gpu.

Though this is a good feature, its kinda a meh piece of news.

Taking screenshots is goood, Iv been spoilt due to the PSP's ability to do it with all games (using homebrew app). Annoying that all games dont allow it.

Battlefield 2 has a very serious feel to it. It is just the dumbed down versions for consoles that have that aspect. Though I will say I did enjoy the destructible buildings in Bad Company, then again give me the real Battlefield series over these spin offs. Also BF2 did the modern warfare two full years before Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The 360 version of bf2 is serious and decent, pick it up for like 5bucks on ebay

Its not derogatory in the UK or Australia, and I'm not sure if it is or not in Canada.

It is used in a derogatory sense in Australia.

More of a refence to the quality of items long ago, you wont hear many people under 20 say "jap crap", now that they all love fast and the furious tokyo rush xtreme intial d racing carsssssssssssssssss.
Only people you will find saying "Japs" are the older gens, babyboomers

I hope it doesnt end up like 360 in the next gen of handhelds to stop this, with its licenced only deal.
Seems like the only legal way to block them.

While its floating around, legit sites that host scene releases normally dont host them, have to search forums and such to find the patch and instructions.
So it does make it harder for the piraters.

What's interesting here is that the people with good experiences don't care about the problems of people with bad experiences.  It's almost like last generation when people complained about Xbox Live being very laggy on some games, and it was usually met with "your connection sucks" followed by "sucks to be you."
But that was server baised, it was easy to look down on someone with a 500+ping, as they are either downloading or on 56k.
Alot harder with wii, as its either you, them or matching server at peek.

How do you explain companies who *supported* the 3DO? Dev's do what they want because it's what they want to do. I admitted that the point I was trying to make got lost.
Most of the 3DO games were multiplatform, as they were made for 3DO and PC. Games like Wing commander 4 were much more epic then most of the trash of 32x/saturn.

Would be cool if nintendo stored them all, and in 50years when 1TB is nothing. Released them and we could dl them in a min.

I dont even understand why a werewolf, they are known for having big upper body muscles and being slow.
Is Sonic going to turn into bubsy the bobcat 3D?
I think you just answered your own question.  A WereWolf is the antithesis of Sonic and does not need an elaborate transformation story for it is already established.  Making it actually a fairly good choice and makes some of the side character superfluous so, we could see a solo adventure like SSR.

I was thinking about werewolfs more, and sega's last werewolf game was "Project altered beast" for ps2.
Im doubting the choice even more now, but I do agree might have more adventure

edit: sega could even use the same scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1n0RPFETNA
