Well, sometimes coconuts wash up, but since all of my trees DIE I don't know how much they sell for.  It was 300 in the GC game, I think, but that number could be entirely made up.  Sometimes other villagers or "mom" sends you some fruit as well, but that could take a long time...

Protip: Mail your native fruit to your own villagers...(And I think it's 500 bells for non-native fruit)

Ah good point.  Well i think you would have to water your tree to keep it alive.  you do that probably so im jsut stating the obvious.  I would gladly go to a friends town if any of my friends owned the game...

Well, I just got 800 bells for a month's time at the bank.  I'm not sure how it's compounded though.  My ending balance was roughly 120000.

Interestingly enough I didn't get any kind of note suggesting that I got 10000 bells for the new year... I'm not sure I got it unless "Mom" just wires it to your account directly and doesn't tell you.

Man, I can't find this game anywhere!

I'm going to the last local EB to see if they have it, if not, I will be mad.

Edit: Game not found. It is sold out here too.

Tag mode is one of those wacky things that NCL designers think is really cool, but I don't think many people will get into.  It's only in Nintendogs and Animal Crossing so far, and the basic idea is that you put your DS in tag mode, stick it in your bag and MAYBE sometime during the day you'll run across someone else with the same game in tag mode and trade info (dogs, blanca, etc.) with them.

Well, the idea works a lot better in the more population-concentrated Japan. But I'd imagine that it would be a really nice feature for a gaming convention or something. I heard that at E3 having a DS was a blast, with Pictochat and multiplayer games and all, so this would probably work well too.

I go to anime conventions, and the Ds is sooooooo popular there.  People talkin in pictochat up to the wazoo.  Last year it kind of sucked because most of the good games hadnt come out yet.  I will remember though that the second one I went to towards the end of the year had me and my younger brother waiting in a 3 hour waiting line to get in.  In front of us was a guy who had recently recieved jump superstars and the fact that 3 others could play without the game was beautiful.  I cant wait until this year when games like mario kart and animal crossing will out and about the convention halls.

So Sable in my town now seems quite depressed (spacing out and acting like a "total space cadet" as described by the villagers and her own sister).  A new option pops up when talking to Mable so I'm under the impression that this can be remedied... anyone else get this?

So I'm not the only one!

Sable is cute.  For a porcupine.  She doesn't seem to be crushing on me as much as she did a while ago, though...
