The various entrants in the Switch's Archives lines made announcements this week, which should all be out by the end of August.

  • Hamster held another livestream this week to coincide with the release of League Bowling, the last game from their June announcements. The next six weeks will feature the following games: King of Fighters '97, dino shooter Prehistoric Isle 2, Metal Slug 4, Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers, action hack-and-slash Crossed Swords, and gridiron giant Football Frenzy.
  • A listing has appeared on the Nintendo webstore for Nitro Ball, as part of the Johnny Turbo's Arcade line of Data East releases. Originally released in 1992, the game has never been ported to consoles prior to the Switch. Nitro Ball is a shooter with pinball elements that is similar to Smash TV from Williams, and is played in a vertical alignment.
  • Japanese release information has emerged for the first two Sega Ages titles. Sonic the Hedgehog and Thunder Force IV will launch Sega and M2 into the archives next month, with a Japanese retail price set at Â¥925 according to Famitsu magazine. The Sonic port will include the addition of the Spin Dash and the Mega Play arcade version of Sonic 1, while Thunder Force IV will add online leaderboards and a "Styx Mode" added for the Saturn release.
