I don't know if I should wait for this to come out or get a DS Lite right away. I want to play FF 1 and 2 and since the DSi doesn't have a GBA port I was kind of bummed about it. I know it has a TON of new features but I feel like playing some old GBA RPG games(and some DS RPGs too :) ). Also I'm kind of cheap so I don't know if I should hold for a DS Lite pricedrop...if that ever comes out that is.

I really really really . . . don't know how I feel about the game.

All I know is I hate what they did to Link and I just want to unlock all the characters to find my new main.

Exactly what they did to him? I think his boomerang move was improved and I think he plays fine but maybe you have just played him more than I did.

They made Link playable... :cool;

I want to like Ike, but he's probably too slow for me, at least from what little I've played of him...As I said, I actually like Link now...Fox doesn't seem to have as much distance on his Fire Fox, but overall I still enjoy using him as I have the past games...Pikachu feels a bit more like his original form, but I have to get a bit more in on him...I REALLY like Zero Suit Samus, though I have to get used to the fact that her Down+Smash only hits in front of her...

So at the moment it looks like Fox and ZSS for me, but I haven't even tried a majority of the characters yet...

I'm feeling both ZSS and Link. I'm trying to like Ike but I have a big problem with him since I can't comeback when I'm far away from the stage like I can with other chars. I still think he is a powerhouse just like Marth and Snake. Snake's smash last too long imo. Samus final smash is just too awesome and ZSS final smash can be very effective if you have oponents very close to you. I use it once and got everybody trown out of the stage. Not so sure how I feel about the pity smash yet as I was losing and got one and alsmot won the whole thing. Now it's just a race to see who gets the final smash but if we ever get tired of that (and I don't think we will) we'll just turn it off and play like we used to in melee.

The game is freaking amazing. My local blockbuster had it and since I don't have a Wii but my friend does but he doesn't have the money nor the membership I decided to rent it to check it out. All I can say is that the game is amazing. I love using Samus,Pokemon Trainer,Pit,Ike and Link. I don't like DeeDee that much, but I reconize that he is a powerhouse that I may need to practice more to get better with him.  Pokemon Trainer is awesome and I think all 3 pokemon are well balance with Charizard being the powehouse, squirtle being the quick one and Ivysaur being in the middle of both and with good anti air attacks. Ike is awesome and so is Marth, I think both FE guys are a bit OP IMO. We unlocked: Snake,Marth,Luigi,Captain Falco and Ness. This is the game hardcore players where waiting so this is a must buy for every Nintendo fan out there. It's that damn good. Now I have to start savin some money to get myself a Wii and this fantastic game. If you hve your doubts rent it first and then you'll see if it's worth your money. I guarantee you it is.

Hey dude, around here, we aren't allowed to like Nintendo that much. Sorry.

You're kidding right? ^^;;

You know you could buy a cheap binder if they don't give you a DVD case. I know you're saying but hey they became lazy why should I buy it, well if you think about it if you buy a small binder it takes less space than the DVD cases. It's just an alternate if Nintendo doesn't give a DVD case.

Little Mac.
Ridley or that Damned Boost Guardian from hell that took me 1hr+ to kill him(and he's a mini boss oh joy!) from MP2. Metroid needs more Characters there...2 samus it's ok but come on, you can do better than that! Yes I'm hyping myself up for MP3 with MP2 I never played it, shame on me I know...good game BTW.
Sonic.
Mega Man.

I don't know but for some reason I think Pikachu should had been one of those pokemons....or maybe pichu..though I don't think pichu will make it to the game. I'm not complaining here but I think if you have a Pokemon Trainer representing Pokemon...why not name him Ash and have him have Pikachu, Squirtle and Charizard? Seems like a good line up representing pokemon to me.

Being a  retired pro of table tennis ( I played for 15+ years.) I believe I can answer this. We call Table Tennis the "real"sport. Meaning the high level competition that it's very well mimic in the Rockstar Table Tennis game. The game is more fast paced, more physical and mentally challenge than ping pong.On the other hand ping pong is the recreational part of the sport. Probably most of you have played ping pong because it's what mainstream here in the Americas and in the latin side of the world. In Asia and Europe Table Tennis is cosidered a real sport, with leagues like the ones you see here for baseball,football baskettball etc.  I remember going on debates with friends that ping pong and table tennis where the same thing but believe me when you see it as I try to show everyone you start to respect the sport more and they call it Table Tennis after they realize this. I am proud everytime I can change ppls mind of not calling it ping pong. Als ping pong is a brand of products for Table Tennis, and it's also the sound the ball makes when it bounces off the table.

As for the game coming to the Wii, I am very excited and can't wait to play with my friends and family and remember the great memmories I had of this great sport that anybody can play. I encourge you all to check out the International Table Tennis Federation to check out the top players of the world @ITTF. One interesting note: Table Tennis entered the Olympics before Baseball.

The Xbox 360 is failing?
It is in Japan and from what I've heard it not exactly flying off the shelves in Europe either.

By the way, this episode was disgusting. I really could've done without the whole Ms. Garrison XXX scenes.

And don't be surprised if the next episode whren Cartman finally get to play the Wii, he says something like "this blows and wasn't worth the trouble". I just don't see it ending well, but that ending probably seems too obvious, so hopefully that isn't what happens.

I don't see that happening. I think Cartman will react the same way he did when he finally got to Casa Bonita. If Trey and Matt are big Nintendo fans they won't be dissing the console in any of the episodes, well at least that's what I think.

The episode itself was funny, I could too would had left those XXX scenes of Garrison, but oh well. And I know  I might be wrong but is Cartman really dead?, dreaming?

« on: April 28, 2006, 09:47:13 PM »
Well to anyone who still hasn't  read it go read it now!!! It's one of  those few interviews you read that has honest answers. Reading this interview got me interested in checking out that Madden game, and the only football game I 've played was NFL BLitz but I'm not a big fan of football. This is just what the Wii console needs, unique games, unique experiences with games so you can attract the casual gamers and if this game comes at launch it will be a super Hit for the Wii.Reading that they are also working on other projects makes me feel very happy as a FPS or even RTS games can be unique experiences on the Wii. I just hope game companies try as hard as EA is doing and not try to milk money the easy way by porting games only. I wonder how a MMORPG could be played on Wii, I hope the big N makes a MMORPG on the Wii, but that's another topic for another day..or another topic.

Well I called my local gamestop and they offered me $110 for my PSP!! And 20 bucks for GTA:LCS! Talk about a ripoff. I made a deal with a friend so I will sell it to him for $150. I'm dead broke but I think I will save the money for the new slick DS model and by the time it comes some games that you guys mention might be cheaper so I will be able to play em all . I can't wait for E3 to check out all the new Nintendo games, May it's so close I can smell it.

I might do it...althought I'm still waiting for E3 to come. I'm very dissapointed in it. I thought at first that it was great and all but the reason I buy console or handheld games is because of the GAMES. Now I don't want to look like I'm bashing it as I don't want this topic locked that is not my intention, I just think that both the DS and the PSP have their pros and cons and the DS right now has a lot of things that I look on for when I buy games. Also I 've missed my favorite Nintendo franchises so the nostalgia is kicking in a lot in my mind and seeing great innovative games like brain age and nintendogs makes me want to run to my local store and trade my psp in a flash!!

As a side note I've missed this site a lot, since there's a little game called World of Warcraft that has kept me away from console/handheld videogames for a while.

Recently my psp is getting so much dust is not even funny. I am planning on trade it in with a few games that I have and buy me an used Nintendo DS. The question is: should I do this? What games should I get? I was planning on getting Mario Kart since I've played it and it was so awesome, also brain age comes to my attention too and of course M&L partners in crime since I've played the original and loved it to death! So what games on the DS are a must have right now ?
