That is a good deal if there are two games you really want. Otherwise its just a way to get you to buy something you wouldn't have bought otherwise.

I saw that the other day. I already own it though.

The retail version has twice as many tunes as the WiiWare version, so it is worth it to get the disc.

EDIT: Also, there's tax on Wii Points, but no tax on Amazon. So that deal makes it cheaper.

Yeah I heard about there being tax on Amazon in some states, I think that's ridiculous. I believe TJ Spyke said it is the same way in New York. The game isn't being sold by Amazon though, so would it still be taxed?

In any case, it's a good game. If you like Tetris, you should consider getting that deal.

Oh, you're right. It is a 3rd party seller. Those sales are not taxed. I think part of the reason Amazon stuff gets taxed for me is because Amazon is based in Washington.

I think the way online tax works is if the place has a brick and mortar operation in the state you are ordering from then you get taxed, but if it doesn't then you don't get taxed.

Amazon's got a $20 credit offer if you preorder Metroid: Other M. Last time they did that, it was a response to a $20 gift card offer at Wal-Mart, so you might look into that, too.

I'm not really much of a Metroid fan, but that is tempting. I've still got the $20 credit from Super Mario Galaxy 2, and I haven't really seen anything yet that I wanted to use it on.

I bought one of these recently. If you're looking for a small case to be able to carry around a few DS games, it's great. It holds six games, with each of them easily available, and can be had very cheaply.

Its 4-5 months off yet, but we're sure to see some cool deals pop up when it starts getting nearer the holiday season. I predict we may even see some official price drops from one or more of the consoles.
