Title: Mafia 73: Phoenix Wright: Turnabout Mafia: Sign Ups and Rules Thread

The courtroom can be a cruel place, with lies and deception abound. Will the truth prevail? Will our highly disorganized band of heroes be able to somehow come up with some crazy way to win out the day at the last second against a well organized group of people known as The Prosecutor Office the Mafia? Will Detective Gumshoe be able to scrounge up enough loose change to buy himself a TV dinner? (That's high class dining for him.) Find out in Pheonix Wright: Turnabout Mafia.
This game uses a Majority Rule. Each Day period will last 48 hours or until a majority is reached. For example if there are 16 players than if 9 of those players vote for a single player and that majority holds for two hours then the day ends and that player will get removed from the game
The night period of the game will last around 10 to 12 hours after the day period ends. There may be some fluctuation there based on when I'm awake, when I have all the night actions in, etcetera etcetera.
If I have all the night actions in I will post it at the 10 hour mark. If 12 hours pass and Silenced still hasn't posted his night actions then the next day will begin regardless.
Pheonix Wright Townie Whore: Can use a decisive piece of evidence to change the vote of a single player once a day.
Miles Edgeworth The Detective: Can discover the identity of another player each night. the godfather is immune from his investigations and will come up as a townie.
Detective Gumshoe The Doctor: Can protect another player from the mafia but not himself.
The Mafia.
The Godfather: the head honcho of the mafia. can select another player from the game to "erase". Is immune to investigations.
Goon 1: The second in command of the mafia. Gains the ability to erase a player if the godfather is removed from the game
Goon 2: The unpaid intern of the mafia. Gains the ability to erase a player if the godfather and goon #1 are removed from the game.
Goon 3*: The teenage mafia wannabe. Gains the ability to erase a player if the other mafia members are removed from the game.
*Role may not be included if we have less than 14 players
TIE RULE: If the court is unable to reach a verdict within the 48 hour limit the judge will declare a mistrial and nobody will be killed.
Win Conditions.
For a townie win all mafia members must be eliminated.
For a Mafia win the number of remaining mafia members must be either equal to or greater than the number of townie roles remaining.
Just for the record, this is not an April Fools joke.

If the day suddenly ends in the middle of a "day", how will we know when night actions begin and end? Or no matter when a "day" ends, will night actions go until a set time (like until 8a.m the following day or something)?
Also, one more question, why does it hurt when I pee?

For the longest time I have held a scientific theory of sorts that I am an idiot. I now have further evidence to support this claim.
Exhibit A: I scheduled a Mafia game to start on the day after Easter, which is probably not a good idea. The game will be postponed and sign ups will continue until the 23rd. (Also I'm canceling the Wii U and Vita versions)

despite having updated the original post to clarify that the night period would last for 10-12 hours I never actually posted in this thread, both to answer this question directly and to point out the oversight I made in writing the rules. (This is actually why I include the rules in the sign up thread.)
As for that second question, I would recommend speaking to Director Hotti on that one.

Why'd Pokepal148 have to postpone the game until when I go on vacation? Maybe I should unsign up and change my identity to match Thatguy to mess around with him and this game instead....
