link A huge sipment of the Black DS lite and a bunch of games heading to Europe has gone missing

. There is a $123,000 reward if their found!

Even though this is really bad for nintendo maybe nintendo will finnaly learn to release colors in the us so this short of thing wont happen...

That's a shame. I followed the links back as far as I could to see if this was just a rumor, and ended up on some Chinese site. "Nintendo" was translated into "No matter what the heaven" by babelfish, so if nothing else good comes of this, I at least found a new favorite phrase.

He then pressed a secret button, and was sucked up into a compartment above the building. Out the window, Please let me in, Please saw a giant powerranger ship fly off to Calibans house, and then a nuclear explosion.

Next, he saw the ship fly back in the same direction, suddenly stopping in front of the window. A giant hand crashed through it, nearly knocking glass on Please let me in, Please and then it opened up to revail; a ds lite.

I really want the black DSl, and this news makes it worse for us north-americans to be able to buy it, even for the europeans this is bad news. I wish I did stole at least one of them and I would gladly leave the exact amount on the spot, and then I would run away obviously.

Overall it sounds like Nintendo still suffers loses from piracy.

I just thought of something regarding the whole "count them as sales" joke. Logically this DS units are going to end up in the hands of someone, right? So don't they count as part of the userbase? When Sony gives us their shipped numbers those aren't reflective of the userbase because they're on a shelf. But some people will eventually own these DS's and thus could be considered as potential game buyers.

I think Nintendo doesn't need to talk much about userbases, the DS is moving like 2-3 times as much software as the PSP so even if it had a smaller userbase there'd be no reason to make a game for the PSP unless it's a quick and cheap port from a home system.

Well I figured out that the number of DS Lites stolen was 17692 if you divide 2.3 million buy 130$ (average retail price here in the states).

Unlike the PSP, the DS is best used as a game machine and not a hacking tool, meaning that, if someone buys one illegally or otherwise, then they HAVE to buy games for it.
