General Chat / RE: Gamespot Editor fired for 'unfavorable' review?
« on: November 30, 2007, 03:45:33 PM »
Seems very fake, bleach shattered blade got a poor review, yet it got the same treatment on gamefaqs and Gamespot as this game

I think its just a troll story, baised after penny-arcades pathetic attack on IGN.

well isnt the ut3 engine like 500k to 1million to licence, when companys pay that much money u cant simply treat clients poorly

Game is being made in australia, Its not like EA or activision where they add wii expierenced people to a project to make a down port
they would beed to hire people from other countrys, only expierenced people would be from the koa the kangroo team (gamecube)

lucas arts has little to do with the team

TalkBack / RE:INTERVIEWS: The Denis Dyack Interview
« on: July 18, 2007, 03:01:18 AM »
movie point kind of got painful
as movies are tested infront of groups of people well before release, and are editted/cut baised on reactions
much like denis said he did

its not just simply, show media then regret not making changes

but I enjoyed the interview, but I dont think I learnt anything

by the way, I like how deadly d is so offended by "spastic," but uses the word "retarded" to describe the way people talk. That is a universally offensive term.

As someone how has been around people with disabilitys, I can say it isnt

Its offensive is most countrys, its lame american slang for a disability that isnt funny
the slag is most often said while talking in a retarded/slurred way, I have noticed

Its a pathetic attempt to bring someone down, which nintendo american localiation team failed to address by using it in a "cool" way

aslong as there are items, there needs to be rubberbanding
item gives you a 10sec lead, its then unfair to expect the person to make up those 10secs in only 1-3 laps left

Its not a F1 game, were you can make back 10secs over 40laps

TalkBack / RE: PREVIEWS: Mario Kart Wii

rubberbanding is good with balance, totally ruined MKDS due to lack of it
you can be a lap behind and still get 10 banana's in a row
