Nintendo Gaming / 100hz compatibility?

Hello everyone, I just bought a gamecube and a got a problem with it, I looked around on google and couldn't find out where it came from

I'm not on the NTSC standard since I'm from Belgium.. I'm on PAL and my TV has got a refresh rate of 100hz and I can't seem to have sound with my gamecube connected to it. I already tried on other TV's and there is no problem.. Does that come from my TV? Or do I need another cable?

Hope this post don't piss off anyone, and sorry for my english.. I'm doing my best
