This newer Switch is a byproduct of the pandemic and tthe microchip shortages. Sony and Microsoft are dealing with the same issue. Although the performance of the Switch will eventually jeprodize third party support as Series X and PlayStation 5 games become exclusive in a few years.

The Vita subsisted off obscure third titles up until Sony pulled the cord, so I assume the 3DS could survive a few more years. They need to bring out more Nintendo Selects titles because I do not want to pay full price for its games any more. Is there a chance Dragon Quest 11 could eventually be on the 3DS outside of Japan?

Sony saw how successful the PS4 was and they also witnesses Microsoft get away with the Xbox ONE X and decided the PS5 will most likely be $499.99 with no cheaper alternative.

They are running that license into the ground. If this new ani-loot box bill is passed then EA will lose a significant loss of revenue. Let's be honest, the ground is shrinking around Electronic Art's feet because all of their properties are tanking.
