I've received both sets of cards, with Khush's finally arriving today.  I'm down to needing five cards (plus one to replace Kabuki) - I'll get some stuff posted later this week as time allows and maybe one of our newcomers can help me finish up my set. :D

Good to hear! Did you like my packaging?  8) And I've got the Kabuki replacement covered through ejamer. It's all good.

Awesome! Glad to hear it! Although you really went for a lot of extra cards....

Well, aside from UncleBob still needing about 5 cards, I feel confident about looking back and saying:

Khush, UncleBob, let's get started now setting up our little trading Circle. Wow, we've already got more people than I knew who had Animal Crossing eCards back in the day!

Kairon too?!? These cards are as good as got already!

All the better to trade for Series 2 cards my dear!

Actually I just got really really excited about buying lots of packs. >_< I'm really bad with money.

I should still have your mailing address, and will send Kabuki next time I'm at the post office.
(Not always fast to get things sent, but it'll happen. I'll pm you once it's in the mail.)

Edit: Also, I'll wait for your "still needed" list to get posted in case any of my other doubles help out.  Cheers!

Not forgotten!  ...but I thought you were done collecting set 1 and waiting for set 2 to start?  Thought maybe it would be easier to do some trading in Jan/Feb of next year that way.

Don't worry. I'm in for the long haul even if I don't own any game that makes good use of these cards yet. Cynical comment: here's hoping a game that makes good use of them gets released someday, right? right?  ;)

If you want to sell cards instead of trading, or just want to give cards away, I'll look over your list sooner though.

If interested in a trade, I would be happy to send you #s:  013, 037, 073

That would be half of the remaining cards you need.  I'll be getting a few new packs of cards at Christmas that might help fill in some of the remaining gaps - but not sure if you want to wait that long before agreeing on a trade?

From your list, I definitely still need: 004, 009, 036, 041, 076, 086

Any three from that list would be ok for me. Note that the list is a bit shorter thanks to a (likely) local trade in progress.

Let me know what you think!  :)

Guess who stopped by? Pete! Everyone's favorite pelican delivery person brought a letter from Dan Laser, complete with trading cards of all his favorite Animal Crossing buddies.  Aww... thanks so much!

Between that recent arrival, a pending local trade, possibly some cards coming from Khush, and hopefully a trade with UncleBob, I could be down to 15 cards from a full set.  Crazy!

Updated my old post with more current details.

They're coming. Every time I come to NWR the past couple days, I feel guilty because I haven't shipped them yet after saying I'd do it sometime last week. I don't want to keep feeling bad about it so I'll get on it.

I don't even remember what the old title was about. It has popped up again now and then but I usually let it slide. In this case, I decided to reply since I could use it for some humor and ejamerramalamadingdong should really no better.

It was a simple typo - I was supposed to be at work when posting - but I humbly accept my new (deserved) title.  Feel free to use dingdong for short.

On an upside, Xenoblade Chronicles X finally arrived today.  Only managed to play a short time. Don't like the initial setup better than what was in the previous game, but it feels great. Familiar in all the right ways. I can see the entire holiday break being, and probably a few months afterwards, being lost here.

Sorry, that's way off-topic.  I'm just a little bit excited.

I kind of fell off the bandwagon during the holidays because of other responsibilities taking center stage... but with series 2 coming soon am started to get excited again. Still need to go through and see which series 1 cards I need too, since that list is getting much smaller.  (Semi-related: pre-ordered the Resetti and Blathers figures, which will sit nicely beside my Villager, Tom Nook, and Mabel.)

I want to send a big thanks to Khushrenada!  The cards you sent arrived over Christmas break and looked fantastic.  In a few weeks, maybe I can repay the favor.  :)

Also want to remind Uncle Bob to PM me if he's interested in a small trade. I've got a few cards he was looking for from series 1 set aside, although maybe it's better to hold off anyway until after series 2 trading starts.

Oh man, I can't believe it's been so long since I've checked in!

Sounds like all card have arrived, and people's collections are growing as well as have been completed. Yay!

Hope everyone had a great holiday and has some money waiting for Wave 2!

Have people preordered cards, or are most just going to pick them up when they see them in store?

I've pre-ordered as many cards as I could at Best Buy, but will have to pick them up in-store. I'll do my best to get at least 17 packs of Series 2 at launch, but I may fall short that number and take my time making up the difference since  I recall Series 1 card packs were super easy to get once a couple of weeks had passed.

I ended up preordering 5 pack on Amazon, but won't get them until next week. I'll try to pick up a few packs between work tomorrow too. Let's hope we can find some before they're all bought out. Like you said though, in a few weeks they'll be easy to find again.

Good luck on the hunt!

Yeah, I've got 5 packs in hand now, and 2 more packs I have to pick up in store. I might take my time for the rest until Best Buy opens the items up for shipping straight to me instead of forcing store pickup.

That's odd that they are only offering in store pick up at the moment. Sounds annoying!

I might be getting ahead a bit then here, but here's what looks to be the extras and needs at the moment. I'll try to edit as soon as I can if there are any changes.

Series 2
Looking for:
102, 104, 106, 109, 111, 113, 115, 117, 119, 121, 128, 133, 135, 136, 138, 140, 150, 159, 171, 176 x2, 187, 188, 196, 197, 199

For trade:
101, 105, 110, 112, 114 (2), 118, 125 (2), 126 (4), 129, 132 (2), 134, 141, 143 (3), 144, 149 (2), 152 (2), 153, 154, 157 (2), 162 (2), 163, 166 (2), 170 (2), 172, 177, 181, 184 (2), 186, 190 (3), 192, 193, 194 (3), 195, 198 (2)

Series 1:
For trade:
02 (2), 20, 25, 35 (3), 39, 048, 56 (3), 57, 68, 72 (2), 85, 99 (2)

I am sorry - I thought I had posted here to note - I had completed my Series 1 set a little while ago.  A few trades at the Best Buy Event (where I got me one of those fancy promo binders!) and one eBay deal where I got the last five cards I needed to finish off the entire set.

I have 34 Series 2 duplicates and need 26 cards (bought one box of 18 packs on launch day).  I'd also kill a man for a CP Isabelle at a decent price.

I'll post my duplicates/S2 wants here in a few.

Ah, no worries!  I wasn't going to push anything until the series 2 trades started, so this is fine.

Speaking of series 2, went looking in local stores over the weekend with no luck. I'll be in the thread when I've got cards, hopefully before too long.
