It's a Final Fantasy (again) and Zelda week in Japan.

To the chagrin of Nintendo fans in the West, this marks yet another week that eShop customers can find a Final Fantasy title on their handhelds. Final Fantasy II, for Famicom, marks the second Final Fantasy title to hit the Virtual Console on the Nintendo's handheld. Another heavy hitter, in the form of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, also bursts on to the Wii U Virtual Console, as well as a first party Satellaview title called Marvelous: M�hitotsu no Takarajima (Marvelous: Another Adventure Island), an adventure game following the exploits of three young boys and their female friend. A fun fact about this game - this is the first title that Eiji Aonuma’s directed. Other titles like Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze arrive early in Japan, while a few titles hit the eShop awhile after their original releases (Dragon Quest Monsters and Jewel Link).
