Pit joins Mario, Little Mac, and a tower defense game as this month's rewards.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/33530

This month's Club Nintendo games are 3D Classics: Kid Icarus, Starship Defense, Super Punch-Out!!, and  Mario Tennis.

3D Classics: Kid Icarus is the 3D version of the classic NES game. Players take the role of Pit on a platform jumping filled journey to collect three sacred treasures. It can be yours for 150 Coins.

Starship Defense is a DSiWare title where starships must be protected from enemy attacks by placing turrets and other defensive measures along your mothership. It was developed by Q-Games, the studio behind Star Fox Command and Star Fox 64 3D. For only 150 Coins, you can join in the battle.

Super Punch-Out!!, orignally on the SNES, is the sequel to Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream. Anticipate an opponent's movements and knock out Little Mac's competition. This can be downloaded for 150 Coins.

The last of the four games is Mario Tennis. This N64 game is part of the Mario sports line, and has you playing tennis with Mushroom Kingdom favorites like Princess Peach and Toad. Mario Tennis will cost you 150 Coins.

All four games will be available until April 7.

Four fantastic games on the lineup, and I'm pretty sure it's the first time that 3D Classics: Kid Icarus has been available on Club Nintendo. Yet the first two comments are complaints. Gamers are insatiable.

Well, guess I should complain too: Darn it all Nintendo, why you got to eat my coins so fast? Guess I'll have to buy more games if I want to get a "free" copy of 3D Classics: Kid Icarus. Hmm... RE:Mercs looks good though, and if club.nintendo.com is to be believed that'll give me a good start with +60 coins.

For what it's worth, Starship Defense is an awesome game.  I'd buy a sequel Day 1.

Wasn't Super Punch-Out already rolled out once before? And this free game comes right on the heels of Punch-out! for the Wii U Virtual Console coming out later this month for almost-free. Not well thought out in my opinion. At least it's not Mario Kart.

Mario Tennis on the other hand: Good choice.

Here are some titles I'd like to get with my coins in the future:

Legend of Zelda
Legend of Zelda 2
Super Mario Bros 2 (that game will get no love any other way)
Pilotwings 64
Donkey Kong Country (any will do)
Super Mario RPG
Star Fox 64
F Zero X
Wave Race 64
Grill Off Ultra-hand
Doc Luis's Punch-out

Just kidding on the last two.

The others will get my coins immediately.

Super Punch Out was up from 10/29-11/12, Starship Defense from 7/16-7/30 and Mario Tennis from 7/1-7/22. So yes, Kid Icarus 3DC is the only new one. (I still bought it. I'll buy Kirby's Adventure 3DC day 1 too.)
