Club Nintendo Year Coming to a Close
« on: June 27, 2011, 09:56:02 PM »

Time is running out for you to use your coins!

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/27000

Club Nintendo members will have their statuses reset as the year ends once again.

After Thursday of this week, statuses will be reset, and depending on how long you have had your coins, some of them will expire.

Like with previous years, in order to qualify for the special reward for Elite Status members, members must have obtained 300 coins since last July to obtain the Gold level prize and 600 to secure the Platinum level prize.

The prizes for Gold and Platinum statuses have yet to be revealed.

It's not confusing.  Coins earned in the 2008-2009 Club Nintendo year that have not been spent expire on July 1st, 2011.

What exactly do you mean when you say the coins will expire?  I know that your count to 600 will reset to 0, but you aren't saying that our balance will change, are you?  I have exactly enough coins for Platinum status, and already have pretty much everything I want from the store, so I have nothing to spend them on if they're going to disappear.

I ended up missing out on the Platinum gift last year, not because I didn't reach Platinum status, but because I overlooked the email. For some stupid reason I thought I would end up seeing an article on Kotaku when they were ready to give out the prizes, I should have just checked the site...

For some reason when I log onto the My Nintendo page only half of the screen is visable and I can not scroll to the right of the page. As a result, I can only access half of the page and certain buttons I can not click onto and use. Can anyone help?
