I've found some new info on the highly intisipated Spiderman 2 Movie from online sources:

- Movie is called "SpiderMan 2: The Amazing Spiderman (Not Offically Said yet)
- Doctor Octopus will be in the movie (played by Alfred Molina of the movie Frida)
- The Black Cat will be in the movie and will become a love interest of Peter Parker
- The Lizard (that scientist guy) will be in the movie
- Rumored to hit theaters sometime in May 2004

Ah, I guess with Hulk Mania is responsible for Spidey getting a late release.
Otherwise, fist one was good, but has to try to be something the Hulk wasnt.

Lizard was origionally in the movie, but since then the script has been re-written so he is probably out, or so I have heard. Tobie, Kirsten and the guy that plays Jameson have signed on for three movies (so two more for them for sure).

Doc-Oc will be a killer bad guy especially with what they can do with computer aided animation.

I dont think they need black cat yet. Just stick with spiderman and marry jane.

I dont think the black cat will be in it, after all it would confuse and maybe upset some older fans, plugging captain america in the movie

A few hours ago, being the spidey fan that I am, I watched the movie again. I just noticed something that could be a clue that the Lizard will be in Spiderman 2:

About an hour into a movie, when Peter Parker meets Harry Osbourne in their new appartment; Harry asks Peter why he's so sad or wrecked up lately. Peter replies that he had just got fired from Dr.Connors and some other coincidences. Now, if any of you read the comics, you should know that the Lizard's real name is indeed Dr. Connors. So he was mentioned in the movie, right behind our backs.

I'm gonna find more clues about the villians in Spiderman 2. Until later, im out.

Who the heck is this Captain America?
I have to guess though, it sounds like only the most eagerly patriotic American would choose Captain America as his fave superhero. I'll betcha he's a typical blonde, causasscian male who wears stars and stripes undies over his stars and stripes costume with a stars and stripes cape.

Bloody hell. Imagine if we had a Captain Australia!

Oh wait we already do.

and i noticed the 'i got fired from dr. conners' but strait away, my mate who i was living with is a huge spiderman fan, so i basically got him to give me the history of spiderman before i went to see it, and so i picked up alot of stuff

well, i never read the comics, but i watched the cartoon.

venom is peter parkers nemisis and also spiderman's, well vemon is venom and someone else, ass who worked with him at paper? well according to cartoon, the venom suit fell to earth and originally peter parker found it and used it, but it was evil and he had to get rid of it, and then found his nemesis and venom was born. carnage fell to earth too and found criminal guy and carnage was born. I like carnage better than venom but that's just me.

I have seen pics of Mary Jane (Dundst) she's a model or something in this movie, the pics show her on a runway or something in wedding gown.

I think that if these two are in the movie, the way they come about will be extrememly toned down to be more earthly, to keep with the scientific transformations thing.

okay, Venom came to earth after the secret wars with spiderman, if you have ever seen spiderman in a 'black' suit, thats the sybiot (sp?) on him, after spidey works out its evil he rejects it, and it goes onto Eddie Brock (also mentioned in the first spiderman movie) and he becomes venom, when hes imprissoned, somehow part of the symbiot (i forget how) seperates from Venom and attaches to Cleatus Cassidy, the mass murderer, and becomes Carnage, who was alot worse than Venom, spiderman even teams up with Venom to beat Carnige (play the snes game Maximum Carnage, which i might add is fking impossible) and yeah, im no spiderman historian, but thats pretty much how it goes.

I am SO glad that Venom isn't in it. He shouldn't show up till like the 4th movie...right now they're trying to make things a little more realistic and the whole spiderman in outerspace finding a living costume thing wouldn' fit. And think, imagine how amazing a CG Venom would look 5 years from now

Yeah PIAC that game was extremely hard. Anyway Venom is the coolest villian in Spider Man...I mean everyone has their arch nemesis Mario and Wario, Luigi and Waluigi (ahem), Sonic and Knuckles....I mean its VENOM! Every Spider Man fan knows how cool he is...hes Venom!
