I still have yet to play X despite owning it at launch, so I'm in no hurry for Omega or Alpha yet. At the same time I don't have much free time to devote to such a huge endeavor that Pokemon can be. Getting any kind of competitive team is out of my realm of understanding and possibility, so... I was going somewhere with this. Can't remember where. No smart ass comment from me either. Disappointing post overall.

I might end up getting Alpha Sapphire just to get the legendary spam. If I do get the game will I need a second 3ds to transfer stuff or could I get away with just using the bank.

Pokemon Bank is probably your best bet if you've downloaded either game, that way you don't have to switch carts to move Pokemon.

Ha! I'm not that far from completion. 14 items left? Out of 2862 items plus DLC. I got this. Meanwhile, you're still having trouble with just over 700 items to collect. I expect to wrap up the AC item collection by this weekend if not sooner. Book it.

Oh, you want to compete by how I do with my badges? Yeah, in that case you might win as I have no idea if I can get gold on the streetpass badge. If it wasn't for that and the visiting badges, I'd still say I could get all gold badges before you finish up your Pokedex.

As much as the OR/AS legend spam appeals to me Pokemon White 2 along with the Dream Radar will cover every non event legendary I need except for Deoxys who is no longer an event Pokemon due to the release of ORAS.

I think it was Triforce Hermit who got me that Zekrom which I appreciate.

Man the dream radar takes a while to get going.

Ok new plan, ORAS have tornadus and thunderus as version exclusive for whatever reason so we use the dream radar to get tornadus and then play through White 2 and try to clean out unova before going on that well earned nostalgia trip through Alpha Sapphire to snag whatever's left.

I actually completed my national dex a few months back. wonder trading did wornders, and I was able to piece together everything else either with GTS, previous versions, or by offering sketch commissions for legendary pokemon.

I'm basically running around the unova region with a hidden ability slowpoke I got from the Dream Radar and occasionally I'll end up seeing something I know I don't have like maracactus and immediately catch it.

Man, the bloody museum gift shop will not offer me the last item I need. I've gone through 15 game days and the Underwater wall has still not come up for sale for me. I've had every other wall the museum sells offered to me a couple times over. Why can't the underwater wall come up along with the others? Lousy Celeste. So much for booking it. Of course, maybe if I hadn't left my 3DS at work on Thursday and hadn't gone straight to bed on Friday and slept away the rest of that evening, then maybe I would have gotten it on time after all. But that's just excuses. I said I'd get them all and I didn't and I don't feel like playing another hour to try and come up with it. Guess we'll see what happens tomorrow.

We could take this to the AC League thread as I mention it there. However, to help bump up the post count of this thread, I will answer it here.

You need to donate every type of fish to the museum. (You may need to donate every type of deep sea creature as well. I forget. It's been awhile since I looked that up.) I finally did that and completed my museum. Completing the museum unlocks the Museum Model for furniture and I've had that thing show up twice already in the same timeframe since I donated the last fish but no underwater wall yet.

I passed my 666th Pokemon milestone a while back and... (drumroll please) my 666th Pokemon is:

Be afraid, be very afraid. Deerling has come for your soul.

Right then, I'm nearly cleared with non-legendary Pokemon which is nice.
Also, Kanto is now complete outside of Mew.

That's good. I was starting to get worried that I might get all the New Leaf gold badges before you finished your pokedex but it looks like you will be able to finish this quest before mine. That just means that my gold badge quest is the greater challenge and when I accomplish it, I will have pulled off one of the greatest gaming challenges ever.

Really?!?!?

Seriously Nintendo, just introduce a utility for bank to allow you to transfer pokemon directly between games without having to access the web using some cache storage on the system itself to temporarily store the 2kb Pokemon data. It's that easy! You have less load on the servers and everything!

And don't try to say it's my fault because I've never had this issue before but since Christmas the Bank has been a huge pain and honestly it's a bit annoying.
