Actually, the Packers are dead last in terms of yards. But they have the most wins in the league. Go figure.

Remember last week when the Steelers (the #1 defense in the league) got gashed for 400+ yards against the Broncos?

Remember last week when the Giants (the #32 rushing offense in the league) ran for close to 200 yards?

Rankings schmankings. Go Pack Go.

They're only 19th in scoring defense. Also, they're 1st in points scored; you need to be playing with 9 guys on defense to lose very often when you're averaging 35 points a game.

If Brees is standing, then he can work through the air. You don't smash records not being effective. That's not to say the 49ers run D can't be beat either. Pierre Thomas is running like he doesn't want to be tackled, Sproles will get a you touchdown either rushing or catching, but it would really be lethal if we had Ingram.

Either way, this is going to be epic.

I'm confident that the Saints running game won't be as successful as it was against the Lions. The Niners generally know an advanced football technique referred to as "tackling." And anyone who doesn't execute will probably be executed himself by Harbaugh.... I'm not super-confident that the Niners will win, but I'm giving them a slight edge at the moment. Hope they don't let me down!

Close game, but the Niners are headed to the conference championship. Certainly will be rooting for them.

Looks like New England's set to win, but will they blow all of their points this week? We'll see.

The Niners-Saints game was really exciting at the end, but it's not a good sign for San Fran that they got five turnovers and still almost lost.

Wow. New England punted on third down and then a brawl broke out. I've about lost all respect for that team. I guess now I'm like Greg and can't wait to see them get pounded.

Baltimore has a shot, then if they win that, they'd have to face San Francisco, Green Bay, or New York. Not looking so easy now.

Not a big fan of the Patriots, but I'd certainly rather have them in the Super Bowl than Baltimore. Either way, I think the winner is whoever comes out of the NFC.

I've never liked the Patriots, I will pretty much root for any team that faces them. Ideally, I would like to see a Packers-Texans Super Bowl (well, Packers-Broncos, but that won't happen now).

The environment here was amazing. Everyone at the bar was exuberant for the first quarter, sullen for the second, ambivalent for the third, and then wildly fluctuating for those final seven minutes. It was like being a teenager all over again! And then the bar fights broke out!

If you're starting a fight when you're down 5 touchdowns in the 4th quarter, you're doing it wrong. Although having your QB punt is a bit of a bush move.

Brady punted to avoid taking an unnecessary hit. It's not the first time he's done it. I'd say it's actually one of the classier moves by the Patriots, he could have just as easily thrown another touchdown, but Denver was absolutely pathetic, so why even bother? I'm assuming that the team you lost respect for was New England, but Denver started the fight, and it had nothing to do with Tom Brady.

That Saints-Niners game was fantastic. I echo JP's thoughts. The Niners shouldn't have been in that position at the end. The offense clicked in the beginning and the end, but the middle was the Rootin' Tootin' San Fran David Akers Show on offense. In all honesty, game should have been a minimum of 27-17 by the 4th quarter. It's a big reason why I think despite the Niners' quality play, they're very beatable. That game tonight amounted to a flip of the coin.

Ah, maybe it was just utter dominance. That and people on Twitter reacting to it. Either way, they'll definitely have more of a challenge next week.

You may have been right, but I wish Denver, Saints and Packers all made it through. Why? Because the games would have been WAY better.

Patriots and Giants in the super bowl? Lame.

Patriots and 49ers in the super bowl? If Tom Brady shits himself due to hits, that would make me really happy but I could care less about either two teams. Go Niners I guess.

Ravens? Only by default am I rooting for them. (But go Cruzzzz).

If the Saints and Packers won, we could have seen the two best Quarterbacks in the league shoot out against each other. If the Broncos won, as a Muslim, I would have gone to Church yesterday. Tebow in the Super Bowl would have been the most hilariously awesome thing ever. So much potential...all lost..

As much as I'd hate to see the Ravens in the Super Bowl, Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh would be pretty cool.

The Patriots vs Giants Superbowl from just an few years ago was awesome. It as very close and the Giants ended the Pats' perfect season.

Welp, that Packers game sucked. :/ But c'est la vie. Rodgers took home the trophy last year, so I can't whine too loudly. Wish they'd made it more of a game though!

The Saints and the Packers both played the worst games they've played all season this weekend. Giants got hot at the right time; Saints and Packers got cold at the wrong time.

Agreed on the Packers game, but the Saints? They've laid bigger eggs. Against most teams, that performance would have been more than enough to win it. The Niners defense and special teams just really stepped up, and the offense got lucky (against a mediocre Saints D) at the right moment.

I was mostly referring to the five turnovers for the Saints. I'll agree that it wasn't as bad as Green Bay's performance.

Green Bay just couldn't catch the ball to save their lives. Rodgers started taking a beating towards the end of the game, but he was like 24 for 43 or something, that's some sloppy ass work by the receivers.
