I"m pretty sure there was something like a 100oz steak challenge (or something like that) in Portland that locals talked about. If you could eat the whole thing it was free. An acquaintance at school bragged about having succeeded once at it. Can't remember the name of the place.

I think there was 8 cuts of steak totaling 120oz or something like that, but if you didn't finish it you owe like $140.

I found one called Sayler's Old Country Kitchen in Portland online that references a 72oz steak challenge but I'm not sure if that is the one I've heard about before.
