Thank you everyone.
Yesterday I noticed that my birthday wasn't listed on the calendar so I wasn't sure I'd even get the orange username. Even the forum software hates my birthday...

Actually soap is not healthy for a cat's fur and skin. They actually benefit from the stuff in their saliva so giving a cat a normal bath is not beneficial except in a few uncommon circumstances.

I'm pretty sure cats would not have a large amount of bacteria. The licking would take care of them. Their digestive systems are different from ours and therefor they can handle things our stomachs could not.

Besides, they leave hair everywhere.

Soap is a terribly ineffective way to clean yourself. Now, antibacterial soap, that stuff works pretty well.

I thought cats' mouths were horribly UNCLEAN seeing as they lick their paws which they've been using to dig around in their litter box. Their paws are pretty unclean too, for that matter, which is why you have to be careful to clean the cuts if you get scratched by a cat. So now there's even more reason for Mop_it_up to dislike cats.

That's another thing. Even if you get the best cat in the world, it is still going to poop inside of your home. You can get the same effect by not flushing the toilet.
