These files have.SDTHEME extention. Windowblinds does not support them What do I do now please.

Crap! Why won't it work? I'm trying to use the metroid theme, but when I double-click on it like it says, it only opens the Nintendo Desktop Manager, but it doesn't add any other themes to the list. Can someone please help?!

I would be happy to host the Eternal Darkness, Metroid, and GameBoy Advance if anyone has them. I really am looking for the Eternal Darkness one so if anyone has it I would be very grateful!

Zelda Wind Waker
Super Mario Sunshine
GameCube
StarFox
Nintendo Theme Manager

If anyone could help me out I would love to trade and/or obtain the others and make them available for a while on my server.

Another question:

Are you guys all using Nintendo Theme Manager to load the themes?

Or are any of you using WindowBlinds? I am trying to use WindowBlinds and it doesn't seem to work as it should...If someone else is using WindowBlinds what is the proper way to import the theme? I have tried just remaning the file to a .wba extension, but this doesn't import all the sounds and features...

You really have to fudge it to get them to load in regular window blinds... because the nintendo them uses that funky dxthem file er something like that.... and the nintendo theme manager sucks cause its hard to make it load on startup...

Here is what I did, load the Nintendo theme manager and then load the theme. It will then create the larger folder of all the different files within the them in the Nintendo theme manager directory somewhere on your drive. Find that folder, then copy that within your objectdesktop/windowblinds themes folder. The theme will then be selectable within windowblinds. So repeat the process for each theme and then uninstall the nintendo theme manager. That is what i did. If anyone knows of a better way, throw it up here.

I too am still looking for the ED and GBA themes.

Thanks for the help. Did you have WindowBlinds loaded prior to loading the Nintendo Desktop Manager? I did and it appeared to hose up my WindowBlinds. Haven't uninstalled it yet though so maybe that's all I need to do. With it installed the WindowBlinds themes are no longer visible in Desktop Properties and trying to "Add" them doesn't work.

Haven't heard back from anyone yet on the extra themes, but I am willing to host them so please let me know!!!

OK...I've got ALL of the skins with the exception of Eternal Darkness (yes, I even have Metroid, Pikmin, and GBA)

If anyone can help us find Eternal Darkness I will host them all for you on my server. I know a few guys here said they have it. If you do PLEASE email me!

I to would love the gba one. As for whats installed first...I'm not sure how i did it...:-/ If you really want to make sure nothing steals anything from the other, I would install the nintendo one with the regular one uninstalled, save the files you need, then uninstall the nintendo one, reinstall the regular one, and then transfer files...that my work better.

On a side note, i have had them disappear from the list in desktop properties a couple times. I have no idea why this happens, but a simple solution I found it to take all the them folders out of the windowblinds directory, restart windowblinds (now nothing will be available in the desktop properties screen) then re copy the files and restart windowblinds again. That seems to work for me. Like i said, its very buggy and weird how it works, but I have mine working and I only had to do the re-copy think like twice so far.

Anyone else having the problem where once you restart your computer, some of the effects of the theme are gone, like the pointer and menu bar? This happens every time, and it's annoying because then I have to re-install the theme.

Also, *please* help me find Eternal Darkness. I know some of the guys in this thread said they have it. If anyone knows how to get ahold of these guys please do. I would be happy to host the file. This is one I really want to find.

Also, if you live in Europe and haven't registered a Nintendo product you can download Eternal Darkness theme just by registering, so if you happen to do that I think everyone here would really dig it!

Awesome guys, thanks. I would host these for everyone but my space is currently filled with tv comemrcials which are posted on here.

EDIT: I try to exract the theme manager from winrar, and I get an error message:

1 themeManager.rar: Unknown method in themeManager.exe
2 themeManager.rar: No files to extract

Any ideas anyone?

EDIT 2: I just downloaded a newer version of WinRAR and it went ok.

Holy crap, these things fuggin kick!

I've got the Metroid one, and I have to say, it's styling.

It does have some serious problems switching back, though- my computer froze and I had to restart.

Try installing Windowsblinds first. I heard that works, although I haven't tried yet myself.
