Not being able to buy a second Gamecube because of taxes doesn't sound good because a Gamecube itself is a luxury item and having two of them is largely viewed as frivolous by most of the population. When complaining about taxes complain about stuff that is largely seen as a good use of money by everyone so that you gain sympathy.

That's because Uncle Bob is one of those filthy rich capitalist pigs (or should we call them pinatas?).
