Smited! The sick thread
« on: September 01, 2006, 10:00:44 PM »
For my apparent lack of game I have been smited with two infections at once.

One baterial chest infection.

One viral in my head.

I have never known sick to be this bad.

I'm sick too, just today. No bacterial nothing, just a head cold, nausea, and a nasty sore throat. I went to the lake today anyways because my area is so beautiful and us Oregonians kick ass.

Hope you get better before Tuesday!

Thanks man, starting to come round, but what ever it is, it nasty. It normally takes alot to take me down. Most of the time I only get a sniffle, sort of walking wounded.

Damn bugs grew some brains and double teamed me. I have had the baterial one before. I am normally ok with that. Cough abit. Nothing too aggervating. Don't even set the docs over it.

The pills I am taking for the runny nose is trying to knock me out which is a good and a bad thing. Can't drive without cutting down, but I can use them as quasi sleeping pills. The anitbiotic has stopped most of the coughing but I can't stop taking them until they run out for obvious reasons.

The funny thing is that the doctor fee cost 3 times what the meds cost.

That clean lake air should do you good svevan. I only got the trash heap that is my room to breath from. What is going on tuesday? Sorry if I am too wasted to tell.

Alcohol* is your answer and lots of it is the key , and for a bacterial anything its the only medicine you need. The best part is you can use it pre-emptively and never worry about a cold, whether it be in your head or chest(its works for me at least).

p.s. The alcohol might help you with your lack of game, it will either get you drunk enough to say the right things or him/her drunk enough to not care what your saying. Give it try, could make you feel better in more ways than one, and help you last long enough to feel better again and again and again.

*Hard Alcohol is neceessary and if you're a beginner try ice cold vodka as a starter.

Tuesday is back to work/school or whatever, right? Unless you don't celebrate Labor Day in New Zealand.

??? fraid I have no idea whats going on. There is a labor day or something like that but I have no clue as to when its on.

Normally if there is a holiday, I get called in to work at the shop I am employed at. I get time and half for it so it is no big deal. Considering what has happened lately I would not be supprised if they didn't call.

So yeah I am pretty out of touch right now.

I think you're out of it, friend. Lay off the meds or go to sleep.
