I've been pretty bored today, so I decided to pull out the old NES!  After I found a pile of NES games stuck in the back of my closet, I soon began to realize just...why...I stuck them back there in the first place!  FUN STUFF...Enjoy my not-so-witty jokes and sucky game-playing!

Gyromite
Stack-Up
Zoda's Revenge: Star Tropics II (Laugho, sorry Deg! =D)
Adventures of Tom Sawyer
Adventures of Dino Riki
Ghostbusters II
Road Runner
Astyanax
A Nightmare on Elm Street

Would you believe I actually watched all of those?

I like it when Bill screams when enemies attack.  AGGHHHHHGGHA!!!

Thanks for playing these awful games and letting me know not to purchase them on the VC.

Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

He's not the only one doing that, even though you were kidding. Since last week, I've been slowly planning on starting my own audio-reviews.

I think the only strange game I had for the NES was MC Kids, which I actually really like.  It was a decent Mario Bros. 3 clone/rip off.  I actually played it all the way through and beat it.

ok, now Im confused, I used to play this car game called road runner, is a vertical scroller. The objective of the game is just to get to the goal, but you have limited gas, and you can pick up special cars that give you a little more, at the same time the road is filled with blue and red cars which will try to make you crash if you pass near them... and also if you do really well a blue superman will pass flying at the left of the screen! I didnt make the connection with the road runner character until now, and I suppose that the game I played wasn't really called road runner anyway, or is a wierd version, I don't know anymore...

Oh and I also played an old PC game of Nightmare on elm street that is far better than this NES version, I can't recall its name though, but I remember the first part was about running in the town to try to find the house while being chased by ghosts. The game had a top-down view.

"WARNING:  CHINCHILLAS MAY NOT BE ENTERTAINED BY BILL'S HORRIBLE SENSE OF HUMOUR!  THIS MAY LEAD TO RANDOM SPURTS OF VIOLENCE FROM YOUR CHINCHILLA, SO PLEASE WEAR PROTECTIVE CLOTHING AT ALL TIMES!"

Dude, I'm totally going to have to rip into you on your Gyromite review.

The Second Controller is supposed to be connected to ROB, your friendly Robot buddy.  He plays the game with you!
Firstly, the "Test" mode is to make sure you have ROB looking at the screen correctly.
In Game A the player simply controls the Professor.
In both Game A and B, you send signals to ROB (that's what the flashing screen is all about) that tells him to move left, right, up or down and to open or close his hands (in order to pick up or drop a Gyro).  In Game B, you send these signals automatically, but in Game A, I believe you have to press select before sending ROB a signal.

Playing Gyromite without ROB would be like playing Donkey Konga without the Kongas.  Except even less fun.  Although, to be fair, Gyromite with ROB is still less fun than Donkey Konga.
Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.
