Mostly Dead: Stratos was attacked by the Dark Brotherhood Assassin but he's still alive... Khushrenada was voted out by the town, but he's still alive...

Greetings Markarths!
I would have been here earlier, but I was swamped with kusoge this week. As a hunter and adventurer used to taking on tough jobs, I was tasked with harvesting the life essence of underwater boats. Fighting dogfish with fire rays is not easy, let me tell you. They have a habit of popping up right next to you, without warning.
There appears to be some conspiracy going on, despite the head of the Markarth Chamber of Commerce's protestations to the contrary. I keep hearing rumors about Linde, Man of Jon, a grizzled warrior reputed to always finish what he starts. Does he wield his famed Cross Blade X, Skyrim's Most Powerful Sword™, for good or is he forsworn to evil?

Here's my issue. I should be dead already! I've been playing this game different and hardly posting at all. This keeps my profile low and out of the cross hairs. But that isn't a fun way to play, you're punished if you participate! I want to blab and message and make wild accusations, but that is just going to get me killed.

Honestly the problem with having any kind of inactivity rule with this game is that it's a massive pain to keep track of and enforce. It's also something else for me to mess up.

So, I was wondering why I wasn't dead and checked the rules. Turns out, I can't be killed because I have the Adara child role. I thought it was only good for breaking ties because that's all Pokepal told me in his message to me. Boy, is my face red now. So, it looks like I won't be able to join the Dead thread after all like I was hoping. I guess if I'm going to be stuck here with the living then I might as well try and get things going for the townie side. So, if the townies want to start messaging me to get the ball rolling then maybe the townies might have a shot at this game after all.
I accuse Insanolord, Mr. Bungle and Stevey of being mafia and I accuse MASB of being the killer. Wow! Throwing out wild accusations without fear of consequence really is great. Wish you were here, ShyGuy.

I don't know. The other day when I checked in on the thread and saw Stevey post about breaking the tie and voting for me, I thought, good for him. It's about time Stevey got a win in our epic vedetta. Especially after I got him bounced early in the April Fools game. But then it turns out, I can't die so he was robbed of that victory and thus suffered another loss instead. To then turn around and vote him out now just seems like it would be a further indignity and he's suffered enough at my hands.
Lucario hasn't been around for 5 days. So, unless he sent all his hits in advance then he's likely not godfather or killer. At this point, still don't know why Stratos was saved. Could be the doctor taking a chance on someone without knowing who they are. He could still be mafia.
ShyGuy thinks he should be dead by now but I don't know why. I guess I won't target him either in order to further deny him the sweet release of death from this game. If I can't have it then why should you?
So, MASB, Mr. Bungle, BeautifulShy, and I guess, Insanolord and Stratos are the current players I'm willing to wreck their day / game at the moment.

After some sleep I think that either Insanolord or stevey would be the best option for a vote out. Insanolord has been pretty active in the PMs and I think the reason for that is that he is the GF or Killer. So where does that leave him as far as roles go? Well he has been active most days in the background so he very well could be the GodFather. He could be the doctor but how often is someone protected when there is hit or kill on someone? The last option is Killer and he is likely not participating in the thread to try and thin the hoard and make it to the end.

Insanolord might be mafia. Stevey might be mafia. It could be a ploy to name your mafia teammates in case they get investigated while you know you will come up as a townie because you are the godfather and doing this would hopefully keep you safe into the endgame. Or maybe you are townie as you claim.

That is confusing. I sure wish the host was more active in the game. I doubt I can sway players who are voting for me so I will say this. I am not giving up. I am willing to fight for my life but for now I need to go work on my notes for my Mafia game that I have been working on.

I have no idea if this is the case but I here is what your role says. Adara; Child role: Cannot be killed by any means whatsoever. However any votes made by this player will not be counted unless there is a tie and they have cast a vote that would normally break the tie, or if the vote they cast creates a majority large enough to end the day period entirely.
Based on this your vote doesn't count unless it is breaking a tie or you have to create a majority with your vote. So there isn't any wiggle room there. Tie break or Majority maker. Nothing in between. That is just my take though.

Time has not been on my side these days.
The double vote can be used to create a majority. If 3 townies choose to vote Fi out and all 3 of them use their double votes than Fi will be at 6 votes. Assuming 6 is the majority that would end the day.
Caffeinated Cheese is an unexpected bug who will be removed in the game's next patch. Please understand, this is a big game. Here at Bethesda we couldn't possibly hire beta testers to iron all of this stuff out.
Also if people are interested in using their double votes they can do so by PM'ing me, not by posting about it in the thread.

From the signup thread: Markarth citizen: standard townie role. Can message the host to have a vote they cast during the day period count for double. This ability can only be used once for the entirety of the game.
Maybe the best option is to let this one slide and have it count and for the remaining ones it has to be via message and post it in the start of the day thread each day to clarify.

I had some inspiration today and started working on it again this afternoon. I took a break for a little bit and I saw votes for me so I had to defend myself and I thought I could clarify a few questions folks had or point them in the right direction and I get attacked. Not fun. I was going to go back to the notes but I had to defend myself more so that is why I am still posting here.

So I'm not very familiar with Skyrim, but, aren't all of the villains in the game not playable characters? So would this not mean that the Mafia are all people who are not playing? I mean, it is the perfect cover after all...

If people wanted to go along with me earlier they would have. Insanolord was my vote for a good portion of the day and it just turned against me like that. You and Stratos said their were up for Insanolord in the thread and in PMs and I was waiting for one of you to start it since it would have more credence because you are the child role and Stratos is someone who I trust deeply but I waited till half of Day 3 was over and nothing from either of you in the thread so I made a choice and people jumped on me.
I can message pokepal if you want but it is not going to make a lick of difference.

I've said this to MASB who's probably relayed it to you anyways. The problem with Insanolord is that his behavior this game isn't that different from past games he's played. Far too often, people think his low activity in game while being around on the forums a lot is a sign of guilt and most of the time people are wrong. I just feel that your targeting him is making that same mistake again of getting fixated on Insanolord's low participation with the assumption he is mafia which too many people get trapped in. I've done it myself. Moreover, that message was hardly convincing to start a bandwagon on.
Plus, as a townie, with a double vote ability, you had easy chances to vote out Insanolord the past two game days with barely anyone voting. What were you waiting for with that ability?

Maybe I had more info today then I had the past few days. Plus maybe I figured that I could be more useful as the days went on. Less players the less chance of someone outvoting me.
