I just hope this game isn't becoming too complicated. I've always liked that Zelda has been a straight-forward, focused adventure game.
I'm with you on this. The dopamine treadmill trend in games with all the RPGified stuff is a bigger and bigger turn off for me every year. Looks like link now has armor stats with status effects, much more crafting, a food system, and gear degradation.
The game still looks incredible, though, so I will maintain optimism that Nintendo will implement these factors in a rewarding and non-loot grindy way. The steps toward this in Skyward Sword were mostly fine.
Poking around general focus forums, like half the posts are talking about how this game looks like dogshit, looks like a Wii game, kills all hype, etc. This hobby is so often disgusting!
