A remade version of Ace Combat: Cross Rumble 3D,  known in the West as Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy, is coming to the Nintendo 3DS next year with Amiibo support on January 29. The new game, dubbed Ace Combat: Cross Rumble Plus, is essentially a remake of the Ace Combat title that was released in 2011, but this time, Nintendo themed fighter planes are now available to play in the game. There is currently no word on a Western release.

Wasn't Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy already a remake of Ace Combat 2? So, is this a remake of a remake?  :Q

I really liked the original, and it's one of I think only two physical 3DS games I still own because it's not available on the eShop. I hope this version comes out in the West if only so I could finally have it digitally.
