And so, the challenge to earn the XX Stone begins...
The third-best story-telling mole in the all the land jumped into his mole-hole, while Giygas and his friends followed to find out more.
They chased the mole for some time, when suddenly he turned around and filched the XX Stone from somebody's pocket.
"This was your XX Stone, but it's mine now. Take it from me if you dare."
Suddenly, Giygas and his friends saw gold line the walls. They saw gold behind the mole. They saw gold everywhere. In the middle of the gold, a clear "No. 3" appeared to be floating around.
"I have a power shield. You'll never be able to get a hit off without sacrificing one of yourselves!"
Someone shouted, "Violence is not the answer! We'll never take that stone from you by force!"
Another said, "Even if I have to die, I'll get that stone back into Good's hands!"
A Tenda said, "We can't hit him with physical attacks, but if we have to, we can use our psychic powers on him!"
Giygas tried to hide behind the Tenda!
The Tenda used PK Freeze!
The 3rd-Best Mole took 244 damage!
The 3rd-Best Mole is now frozen!
Giygas walked up to the frozen 3rd-Best Mole, and inspected the frozen body. While he was gone, the group decided he was least likely to do good, should he have possession of the stone.
The group shoves Giygas into the 3rd-Best Mole's Power Shield!
Giygas takes mortal damage!
The 3rd-Best Mole's Power Shield disappears!
The 3rd-Best Mole sees another mole in the distance, and lobs him the XX Stone!
Everyone bashes, shoots, and chops the 3rd-Best Mole!
The 3rd-Best Mole was defeated!
The Tenda was stabbed in the back and took mortal damage!
...Looking over the scene of the fight, no longer shiny and gold, the group noticed a few things. To begin with, Giygas's body was missing. Where could it have gone?
Furthermore, it looks like someone stabbed that pure Tenda in the back? How could this have happened? Wasn't everyone focusing on the fight and the XX Stone? Someone dangerous is out there, and the group, as a whole, have decided to recapture the stone from the new mole, and use it for the forces of good!
...So long as someone evil hasn't gotten in the way...
The rules are going to be amended to make the game more fun: All players may use his or her ability from the grave! They may not vote, discuss, or message anyone living about the game once they are dead if their ability can still be used. This effects every player, since angels, zombies, ghosts, and the like exist. I think it actually could make the story more Earthbound-esque.
Additionally, Evil's Brown Nose may revive any player he or she chooses, but remember, only one a day, and only on Days 2&3. After that, living or dead, he promotes, but if dead on the third night, Embodiment of Evil retains the ability to hit targets nightly.
