Mafia XXVII: The Mad Science (af)Fair. Day 2.
« on: September 22, 2008, 08:45:27 PM »
On day 1 of the contest, things seemed to progress as normal. Or so they thought.

The home viewing audience immedietly detested Dasmos aka Wernstrom. They disliked his smug attitude, the way he belittled Professor Farnsworth and most of all, they hated his sloppy handwriting. So, as he was voted out of the fair, he was reminded, 'Penmenship counts'. None of this was a big deal since he was a regular scientist or townie anyways.

What was more interesting was the death of Dr. 'Vudu' Wily. He had been gloating all day that his new invention 'Kill Mega Man Man' would finally rid him of his adversary. He claimed that thanks to a special truth serum he invented, he knew the weakness of his foe.

However, later in the day, Vudu became seriously agitated. He spoke in whispers of a coming doom to everyone there. That night, he was found dead. During the night, he was killed by a robot master called 'Wo-Man'. Everyone thought it had something to do with his vendetta he kept speaking about and dismissed it as a tragic event though at the same time, it did mean less competition.

No one realized at the time that with his truth serum, Vudu had uncovered the conspiracy of scientists willing to kill for their prize. They had to keep Vudu from using his truth serum and exposing them. Thus, they made their own robot master 'Wo-Man' and killed him. So, Vudu actually died from the Mafia hit.

But, like I said, no one realized it at the time and with the next day of competition, they put his tragic death out of their minds and moved on.

Day 2 went as follows.

Wow.  This is bad.  Do we know who Vudu was in contact with?  I will admit that I talked to him in a PM and he asked me to change my vote...and I did.  He never told me anything about his role though.

I don't know who to vote for yet.

touche! Both you and thatguy have told me that my avatar is too large, I kno I shrinked it, and from where I'm looking at it its fine, maybe photobucket didnt refresh it or something, I'm gonna try resaving it and seeing what happens.

Edit: That better? I can't tell

I don't know where to go from here.  I had a small list of people I had been messaging and acting ambiguously, and I was going to start accusing a few people of being mafia tomorrow, after three days went by, to try to scare out a reaction from a mafia member, but that doesn't look like it'll work now.  Anyone willing to fall for that trick?  Anyone? Anyone?

No, really, I've got no idea.  Right now, I'm not voting for anyone, we'll see what happens.

If you see it bigger you will realize that "poop" is actually a Bumble Bee.  It is how my friend signs all his work.  Blame it on the 100 X 100 pixel avatar limit.

It is still an awesome dinosaur though.

I AM A TOWNIE.

Do you really think that Khush would let me be mafia after how much I keep fucking up?

I'm still a novice, but whomever is trying to start something; hit me up!

I've played 4 times, but I've been mafia 3 times!

Just by going with the odds of being chosen randomly, the probability is in my favor of being a townie.

I swear on my life that I am a townie.

Wow.  This is crazy.  Normally we townies have some sort of idea who to vote for by now...but nothing...if the Mafia gets another clean day we are screwed.

I also suspect NickMitch, for how strong his convictions were about my random conjecture.  I'm thinking about voting him today.

Again, if you've got any info, make sure you share it!  Right now, I'm inclined to actually vote against NickMitch, but if anyone has something a little more solid, they let me know.

Edit:  Yeah, I've thought it out, talked it over with a few people, and I'm going to un-vote NickMitch.

I have my reasons, too.
