Ahhh...okay, that makes sense now.  PGC rules are different from the rules I know.  The version I've played before keep everyone's identity a secret until either the mafia wins or the townsfolk win.

I've never played by those rules, but it doesn't sound particularly interesting if you don't know your progress.  Especially when writing the narrative.  It'd just be "So and so was found dead.  Now vote."

I like embellishing.
