Nintendo Gaming / RE:Mario Kart strategy & help thread

About Molobert's post earlier with the shortcuts, there are probably a lot more, but this is the only one I can think of off the top of my head. In Bowsers castle, when you are on that long straight-away heading for the giant fire-breathing statue, instead of turning right, you go straight, there is a missing section of the wall where you can jump the gap and skip the hairpin turn, you dont need a mushroom or anything for this one.

I hate it when that happens and you go from first to about fourth or fifth. I have to disagree with Myxtika1 Azn though because of the fact that if the computers could not pick up items, that would give you a major advantage and there would be no challenge.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Broken Cube
« on: December 13, 2003, 03:25:29 PM »
Ok the same exact thing happened to my cube, There are 2 things I know of that you can do.
    1.  You can put a couple of game cases or something else that is heavy on it.
    2.  You need a nail file or something small and skinny for this one, if you open your cube (its already open isnt it?) on the inside of your cube there should be a little slot right by the "open" button.  Inside of this slot is a little plastic thing (here by known as the thingy) you put the nail file inside of the slot and see if you can pry the thingy out.  Once the thingy is out the open button should come out to.  I dont think there is any major damage you can do to it using this method, but be careful anyway.
This method worked for me, the open button still gets stuck, but usually a little giggling can get it out.

                   Hope that helps, good luck.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: A problem that must be addressed.

Man you are the most paranoid person I know, Just because your Gamecube wont work, That means nintendo purposely put a bug in it.  Even if it was an epidemic that doesn't mean it was put in there on purpose, thats like saying, My toaster burnt my toast, it must be a conspiracy.  Either you are Parnoid Or else trying to make people think poorly of nintendo.
By the way, I have Owned my cube sinc launch and only had a problem when my cousin tripped a cord and knocked it off the table.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: New zelda...
« on: August 10, 2003, 10:53:00 AM »
personally I could go either way with the new Zelda style, but it was a very good all around game and I dont care what anybody else thinks about it. If your going to bash the game on these forums at least put it in the Hylian legends forum, I hope the mods delete this soon

About the King saying that he has scattered the seeds of the future, what I think he really meant was that since he destroyed all chance of Hyrule coming back, the seeds of the future were the Islands that were scattered across the ocean (see some of the past posts).  As for the argument about the chronology of the games and the 2 dimension theory well we just dont know the answer for sure and I am just going to leave it at that.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: what about the gerudos?
« on: May 10, 2003, 06:10:58 PM »
Has any body thought that The Gerudos ancestors are still alive, after all they werent a different race they were human women who happened to call themselves the Gerudos. You wouldnt be able to tell wht humans are anscestors of them, its not like they would wear a neon sign.

some of the Gorons still seem to be left,  those traders with the huge back packs seem to look like gorons but you cant tell.  It could be just dark fat people that are really strong to carry those packs and wear a lot of clothes

Lui, have you got the Hookshot yet, if so you need to put on the iron boots and attach the hookshot to the target on the head of the statue in front of the cage and make sure you stand to the side when you do it or else the statue will fall over on you.  If you dont have the hookshot look for it, it is probably in some room you have forgotten to search in (I would tell you but i forget)

Nintendo Gaming / The one eyed stone.
« on: March 07, 2003, 04:31:56 PM »
The only problem with the mask is that if you bother to find all the buyers for the other ones and then you want to talk to one of the one-eyed stones then you will be very dissapointed when it will probably tell you some useless sh*t that you dont need like "Malon of the ranch is waiting for her knight in shining armor to sweep her off her feet" or something like that. Wait a minute why do I remember that OH NO theyve brain washed me and filled my mind with useless cr*p AAAAAHHH!!!   ::runs into a wall::.
