I have The Shield in my Top Spot, but didn't even make the Top 30 of their list.
but this is all based on opinions, and I haven't even seen a lot of the shows on the list.

Such as 13 of the bottom 20 shows I haven't watched any of at all.
and overall 32 of the entire 50 I haven't seen.... some of these I've never even heard of.
Some I've seen a few episodes, or at best a majority of a single season worth of episodes.

Anyway, how would you rate this list? what's missing from your Top 5/10/25/50?

Has anyone seen this? the original link has obviously been killed, but apparently there was a FTC leak today regarding some Microsoft business dealings surrounding gaming acquisitions....

I think it started with the Activision/Blizzard buyout, and now here we are



I have not read up everything on this, and just ran across it minutes ago, but I'll just see what you all think about this.

In Spectacular Spider-Man 176-177, published in 1991, city residents are starting to fall ill from a mysterious ailment dubbed "Soho fever". Spider-Man brings people who collapsed from fever on the street to the hospital and eventually MJ falls ill while Peter visits.



Meanwhile, Peter's on assignment with the Daily Bugle interviewing scientist Cedric Forrester in his lab which gets cut short when a certain "Corona" invades the building to steal his research.



Later it is revealed that she is Cedric's sister and they were involved in some ethically dubious experiments leading to both her condition and also contaminating the city's water supply.



Eventually, Spider-Man gets sick himself from direct contact fighting Corona.

The issues have unsurprisingly gained in value among collectors over the past year.

General Gaming / Oculus Quest 2: Entering the VR from the comfort of my BR

Hey Everone,

got an Oculus Quest 2 for me and my daughter for Xmas.
Never really used VR before, so I was immediately blown away as this was very cool and kinda disorienting

Anyway, I would really like to get the most out of this that I can, so looking for the best experiences the Quest VR has to offer.

I just got my high speed Link cable in the mail yesterday, so I'm looking to expand into Qculus Link, Steam VR and whatever else that link should bring.

Games I've currently bought so far are as follows:
- Beat Saber  (crazy game)
- Vader Immortal pt1-3 (haven't gotten past the tutorial yet)

Other software includes:
- Echo VR
- Netflix, Youtube, Prime VR
and any other "free/demo" I could come across.

I have yet to watch the Tiger King show on Netflix but I might be compelled to watch Nic Cage ham it up on the small screen recreating everything I so far have refused to watch. LOL

Nintendo Gaming / Switch Parental Controls - HELP NEEDED!!

Hey everyone,

I recently got Animal Crossing for the Switch, mostly for my daughter to play.
I also got the Nintendo Online account so she could play online with her sisters at her mom's house during this whole lockdown situation.

my issue right now is that I never actually setup her online account with a password and everything as I wasn't ready for her to actually be online without me present.
So while I was at work, she called her sisters and they setup her online account over the phone and now her online account is tied to the Switch account at her mom's house, but on my Switch.

How can I disconnect her account from that account and connect it on to my account for her here instead?

General Chat / Bought a New 4k UHD TV.... but where are all the inputs!?

So I walked into Walmart and on impulse (without research, just before closing) bought my mom a new 50" Samsung 4k UHD TV last night. It was only $298.00

how are TV's so damn cheap all of a sudden?
I almost bought the Vizio, but the Samsung was the same price. After a 5 second google search, and seeing it rated higher than the Vizio (yes, I know... I might as well not even have bothered if that was all the research I was gonna do) I decided to just gamble on the Samsung instead.

So today, I'm just now looking at the specs on this TV as I wasn't sure if it would fit in her room.... TV stand is a little small, but I suppose I could mount it if I wanted to, its in an angled corner, so I'd have to get a extended mount. So I thought that maybe I would just swap it with my old Vizio that I've had for many years now, that has a central stand (that's another issue with all these new TV's.... they all have the legs at the far ends of the TV and not the central stand anymore.).

But as I'm looking at the specs, there is only 2 HDMI ports, a USB, Ethernet, and Digital Optical Audio.
no TV has the PC Video inputs anymore? why only 2 HDMI? I need to hook up the Computer, Switch, and DVD Player at the least. I can get by w/o the PC Video connector, but can I at least have some HDMI ports to spare!?
what if I game with more than one system? use a cable box? WTF am I supposed to do with all my ****? buy HDMI component box.... this **** is ridiculous.

Someone point me to the cheap HDMI TV I should've bought that will fit my needs so I can give my old TV to my mom. Price isn't really the point, but let's not aim at no $1000 TV's here.
I gotta save that for the new phone I eventually need to buy soon.

I know COVID-19 sucks, but there is always a silver lining to a storm cloud or another side to the coin or whatever saying you could fit in here right not.

Point being that all this "shelter" "social distancing" " and "self-quarantine" is the perfect opportunity for the world at large to push a digital revolution and transform how we deal with our everyday lives using technology at hand.

Long story short.... (save the whole conversation for another topic at another time) some theaters that are either in theaters now or about to hit theaters soon, will now be coming to Video On Demand for home rental.

That's rather nice of them, now watch to see how many people set up "Watch Parties" and rent a movie for 30 of their closest friends and family to all watch together. lol

Since I figured some of you must own a home or may be in the market to buy a home, some of you would have questions about purchasing a home or refinancing your existing home loans (I also do Home Equity Lines).

Rates right now a dropping and even though they've already been low for a while, I figured I'd chime in and help my online fam save a little money in the short and/or long term.

I just want to say I am a Loan Officer for a big bank and have been in the Mortgage industry since about 2007.
I'm not soliciting for your business (but I won't turn it away), just want to open the door to conversation on the subject of home ownership and mortgages in general since rates are about to be low everywhere on everything (We can thank the Corona Virus, a failing Stock Market, and an administration that is only concerned about the appearance of a strong economy).

So if you got questions, feel free to ask away. Take advantage while you can. I'm certain there are plenty of you out there with Mortgage Insurance, or high rates, or wanting to just pay the home off sooner. I will answer as best I can to help.

FYI:
30yr Fix rates should be in the mid-low 3%'s
15yr Fix rates could be in the low 3's to high 2's

and for my bank, we currently have Home Equity Lines starting as low as 2.74% for the first 12 months.

It might surprise many, however, that the Marvel Studios chief is going to be developing a Star Wars movie as Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy makes new plans for a wave of projects set in the universe, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Feige had discussed a foray into the Star Wars universe in a late summer meeting with Kennedy and studio co-chairmen Alan Horn and Alan Bergman, sources say. In response to a query from THR, Walt Disney Studios co-chairman and chief creative officer Horn said, "We are excited about the projects Kathy and the Lucasfilm team are working on, not only in terms of Star Wars but also Indiana Jones and reaching into other parts of the company including Children of Blood and Bone with Emma Watts and Fox. With the close of the Skywalker Saga, Kathy is pursuing a new era in Star Wars storytelling, and knowing what a die-hard fan Kevin is, it made sense for these two extraordinary producers to work on a Star Wars film together."

With Ep IX closing off the original series... and Feige getting in on the ground floor to set up Lucasfilm with the blueprint for cross-pollination movie planning.... does any one see this leading to a potential dimensional rift crossover in the future!?

I can't imagine there wouldn't be "hunting parties" though. No way the general population wouldn't be ok with hunting down at least the large dangerous dino's and then putting then putting the rest back on a remote island somewhere.

hopefully they come back to the table to work this out and hopefully there was already a deal in place for Spidey3....

Venom 2, Morbius and anything else Sony does with Marvel characters will have to BOMB to get Sony to cave and agree to share the cost and profits. Or Disney will just have to flex it's piggy bank and buy Sony Pictures. LOL

Sources said there are two more Spider-Man films in the works that are meant to have director Jon Watts and Tom Holland front and center. Unless something dramatic happens, Feige won’t be the lead creative producer of those pictures.


There is a lot of webbing here, but it all comes down to money, and it’s easy to understand why both sides refused to give ground. Disney asked that future Spider-Man films be a 50/50 co-financing arrangement between the studios, and there were discussions that this might extend to other films in the Spider-Man universe. Sony turned that offer down flat, and I don’t believe they even came back to the table to figure out a compromise. Led by Tom Rothman and Tony Vinciquerra, Sony just simply didn’t want to share its biggest franchise. Sony proposed keeping the arrangement going under the current terms where Marvel receives in the range of 5% of first dollar gross, sources said. Disney refused.

Hopefully they reach a compromise before Spidey 3 would start production... or whatever his next planned appearance/cameo was.

maybe Disney can slip a little clause in there to eventually just get the rights back.
I think this was just the start of an ugly negotiating process that will HOPEFULLY end with an agreement to bring Spidey back home where he belongs.
