Just snagged Ace Attorney Investigations. But it's sad knowing that after I play it, there are no more Ace Attorney games out there. I know there's a sequel but it hasn't been localized and there seems to be no plans to do so. Maybe I'll save this one to play for later.

Happy Thanksgiving week to everyone in the US!  For everyone else, get back to work.

Holidays are a great time for deals, especially with Black Friday just around the corner. Here in Canada we don't get the same deals as the US does... but sometimes you can get cross-border shipping for a few extra dollars.

Grabbed these two games for slightly less than it would have cost me to get 999 by itself in Canada.

Skyward Sword
I also got Duke Nukem Forever Balls of Steel Edition for $18.  I don't even know if I want to play the game.  I may not even open the box because I really just want it as a milestone of Videogame History.  Its ironic as well because I've referred to Skyward Sword as LoZ: Forever more then once...

DNF is well worth playing. Don't believe the bad press reviews. It was a fine follow-up to DN3D.

Its more finding the will to find the time to play this game.  AKA When can I get the TV without my son around.  Why I never got Killer 7 started for the Retroactive.

You should really just send your son to his room. Surely he's done something to warrant grounding?

I can't get him to get to sleep at 8.  He's 3 and he'll just stay up there and play till 11 and sneak down occassionally.

I recently picked up The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Fate/EXTRA for the PSP on PSN.  I'm really tempted to pick up Corpse Party for the PSP on the PSN as well.

I recently picked up BEAT HAZARD on PSN. It's a small awesome game that takes your music and basically has you play an awesome version of Asteroids on top of it. The more intense the song gets, the more intense the games get. It's absolutely perfect with instrumentals in the Dubstep and Trance genres. I'm gonna try out and hour long DJ set soon with a buddy. Should be intense.

You got a great deal on that. There is some cool stuff in that balls of steel edition other than just the game.

Thanks to a combination of Gamestop trade-in credit leftover from the transaction that got me Skyward Sword and PSN credit I was able to get by redeeming my GS membership points, I did pick up Corpse Party. I tell you, "cleaning the fridge" on the PSP for it was a royal pain in the ass.  :(

Great game. I play in Survival all of the time. Even with my perks enabled, I haven't managed to make it past the 40 minute mark. I do have a stylish gold ship from the Steam Summer Event though.

I've thought about picking up Beat Hazard before, but it's such a pain to transfer songs to my PS3 from my computer because of how our network is set up, so I never bothered.

And Kmart is also running a bonus 5% off online only (and free shipping on orders > $49 or store pickup).

I only bought SFIV recently because I got it for $15. I don't really like fighting games, and I'm not any good at them, but I figured I'd give it a shot given the price and how much praise it got.

Skyward Sword, of course, though it isn't scheduled to arrive today (thankfully, Amazon has my collector's edition listed as Shipped as of yesterday.)  I used the $10 credit from Amazon towards Mario Kart 7.

Also picked up Arkham City via the Steam preorder deal; it was finally available for download yesterday, so I started the download/install process while I was at work.

Video games on my Christmas list consists of Prof. Layton and the Last Specter, Super Mario 3D Land, Sonic Colors,

SM3DL at K-Mart - $40.
Other 3DS title at K-Mart for 50% off - $10-$20.
SSFIV at Amazon - $18.

Savings $22-$32.

Of course, that assumes you want SSFIV and some other random 3DS game.

Then buy it for your PC instead? It comes up for sale on Steam all of the time. I think I only paid a couple of bucks for it way back when.

there was no other game I wanted... unless they were gonna let me pre-order.
But you know what... I forgot to ask them that. Mario Kart 7 (when does that come out?) for $20 would have been better for me.

As it is I had to buy SM3DL @ 1 Kmart and then return it at another just so I could get SSFIV3D for $15 since the 1st store was out of stock of SSFIV & the 2nd store was out of stock on SM3DL.

I try to avoid PC gaming if I can help it, as I just don't find the keyboard & mouse interface that compelling compared to the controller.  Besides, I don't want to pick up anything for my computer at the moment when I'm about to get a brand new one for Christmas.  I'll probably finally get around to picking up StarCraft 2 then, as I'll finally have a computer that can run it.

Hey,
Did you see that Blizzard is doing a 50% off StarCraft 2 sale right now?  I don't know when it ends.  I presonally bought the collector edition because I wanted Raynor's dog tags with SC on it.  Great game even without the multiplayer.
