NWR_Neal:
Kirby: Star Allies inhales all takers on March 16.http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/46177/kirbys-latest-lands-on-switch-in-marchKirby: Star Allies is coming to Switch on March 16.Originally revealed at E3 2017, the latest Kirby game is most closely similar to Kirby's Return to Dream Land on Wii, with familiar Kirby gameplay and four-player functionality. Kirby and the playable helpers can work together to solve different puzzles, and in a manner similar to Kirby 64, abilities can be combined.New copy abilities such as Artist (creates a picture that attacks enemies) and Spider (wraps enemies in silk) were also shown.

I will wait for reviews on this one. I will only buy it if its at least as good as Robobot.

Looks great. I guess this means that the Yoshi Switch game won't be released until late summer/early fall at the earliest. Makes me wonder why they showed it so early, at last year's E3. I know the Yoshi game was partly an attempt to get adept at using UnReal Engine 4. Does this mean they're having difficulty? Or is the game largely finished and just waiting for its slot in the release calendar?

Considering Yoshi never had an official title while Kirby did at E3, I imagine it was always the game in earlier development. They might have originally planned a May or June release but stuff happen and was delayed as a result. HAL has been on fire since Return to Dreamland and I'm loving this Kirby resurgence we've gotten the last decade. They got the formula down to a science at this point so no surprise they can pump out a new 2D Kirby in 2 years since each one has had a very similar structure.
Good Feel on the other hand seems to being trying to change things up more with the new Yoshi so running into delays is more likely to occur so I wouldn't be surprised they're taking more time with theirs. Plus if it's anything like Wooly World, a lot more attention to detail is being put into each stage. I mean I've loved the look of the recent Kirby games as well but Good Feels art direction on Wooly World was on another level and this Switch title will probably be the same.
MASB:
Good points, Luigi Dude. Though Kirby didn't have a title at E3 anymore than Yoshi did. Both were just announced with the name of the character and 2018. Kirby got the Star Allies subtitle in September.
