It's not my most recent anymore, but the last big one for me was importing a 64 GB PlayStation Vita memory card. It hasn't gotten here yet, but I'm really looking forward to not having to clean out my fridge for at least a little while, although it's going to be a pain in the ass to move everything over.

If there's an easy PC method, let me know. I'm due to upgrade this year.

You can back up to and restore from PC using Sony's Content Manager software, but you have to do it for each individual item as opposed to the 3DS method of copying over the whole file system of the SD card in one fell swoop.

Oh yeah, I also bought Michael Jordan: Chaos in the Windy City. Looking forward to playing that once I get home.

I almost threw down and grabbed a sealed copy of Insmouse Mansion, but it was $180. Maybe if it's still there when I make one last pass through tomorrow afternoon. Any advice about whether that price is worth it at all? I can't seem to find any information about it tonight.

I am not a strong-willed man.  I broke down and bought a PS4 with Assassin's Creed: Black Flag when I found one in the wild.  Currently downloading all the updates & PS+ Games.

Can anyone make suggestions on worthwhile launch games?

Bought a 16 GB SD card for the 3DS because my 4 GB card is finally out of room. The Bravely Default demo killed it.
This would be my PSN Trophy Card, but I guess I can't post HTML in my Signature. I'm the pixel spaceship, and I have nine Gold trophies.

I folded and bought the Four Game Streetpass Bundle as I had nothing else to do with my Play Coins after buying the remaining weapon loadouts in Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D (though there is a new panel). They were about $4 for each game after tax. Not bad. The games themselves are pretty addictive like Find Mii I and II. Mii Force is probably my favorite. It amazes me just how much Nintendo really understands handheld gaming.

Except for some reason Nintendo didn't think about handling battery outages like the Vita which caches its state to memory so you can just start back where you were.

Your 3DS isn't useless.  It makes a nice paper weight.  You could use it as a clip style wallet.  It can be a Clock or Calculator as well.  You see lots of choices.

Just remember to plug it in.

Mii Force is probably my favorite.
Mii Force is great!

But the general feeling is that all these Streetpass games are like mobile games stunted by the need to extort Streetpasses from you. Better than IAP purchases but still.

I finally have enough money to get a Wii U! Which bundle is the better value? The Zelda bundle, or the Mario bundle?

Also, if I get an external hard drive can I use it for save data?

Would you rather have a $60 game + its $20 DLC, or a $50 game with a digital version of a $40 book + a decorated Gamepad? That's your call. (I'd go with the Mario bundle, personally.)

And save data can go on an external hard drive.

I wish we had better save management. So far saves have to be where your digital version of the game is, or where patches are or else they won't pick up.

I wish i could back up some of my saves without copying around entire game between internal memory and USB drive.

There is also confusing distinction between personal saves and "public" saves... Also personal saves sometimes are attached to your Mii and sometimes not. (which means you might lose them if you change it, like many had when they connected their 3DS Mii to Wii U.

Somewhere in this mess i somehow lost my 99% NSMBU save...

I went with the Mario Bundle because I felt it was the better deal. Though I would rather have the Zelda Gamepad. My wife and I might buy the Zelda bundle for my sister for her birthday so I may ask if she wants to trade gamepads. She doesn't always care about those little details.

I didn't realize that saves were sometimes tied to Miis. I thought it would just assign a default Mii to the save if it used the Mii as an icon.

Hope you enjoy your Wii U; I've enjoyed mine, despite the shortage of games.

Ever since Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was released, I had some irrational expectation that it would eventually find its way to the PC.  Today, my faith was rewarded, as it was finally released on Steam.  I couldn't preload the game, since my C drive is pretty cramped as it is, and I didn't feel arsed to bother with circumventing the default preload location, so I'm downloading it now.

Are the other Metal Gears on Steam? I'd consider getting them there since they rarely come to Nintendo systems.

I finally bought myself a Wii U with the Christmas / birthday money I received from family members. I got the Mario bundle (of course), and I also bought Batman Arkham Origins, Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, and Sonic Lost World. I might sell Lost World and re-buy Sonic Colors, since that's vastly superior in all ways (music, level design, gameplay, sense of speed, boosting).

Edge and Crimson Shroud on 3DS.

Edge has some insane 3d ghosting for some reason.

Crimson Shroud's 3d is barely visible, but otherwise it's okay if a little convoluted with systems...

Bought La Mulana on Steam last night for 0,99 $. While i already beaten the game on WiiWare, the price is very compelling plus i wanted to check out additional modes and maybe DLC that Wii version was missing.

Started playing it and beat the first boss. Yep, it's La Mulana alright.

It's surprisingly playable with 360 controller's stick, i remember jumping in wii version was quite annoying and some wonkyness is still there, but it's somewhat easier to take a hold on in this version i think.

I gotta say, even though I really didn't enjoy FFXIII and XIII-2, the whole dress-up aspect of Lightning Returns is really appealing to me, in a totally non-pervy way.

I just picked up Blackguards and The Banner Saga on Steam(Blackguards through 25% off coupon at GMG).  Times like these, I start to realize how sucky it can be when you have to wait several hours to download your "impulse" purchases.
