That week or 2 of fuckedforum almost put me off for good.....

but I never really closed the tab, so the page may have gotten refreshed a few times, and then i slowly started seeing what was going on over here again.

now if only they used that whole mess to just reboot the entire forum with new software....
it's time a feature refresh at the very least.

I'm Day 1, not that this trailer sold me on that, but it's just a teaser.
I don't really need to be sold hard, they already know I'm a lifer ::throws up MCU hand sign::
It's a damn shame we have to wait all the way till March of Next year for my next MCU fix.

IF S2 was good improvement over S1.
it was better than LC S2 & JJ S2, that's for sure.

I hear DD S3 drops this year, and then The Punisher early next year.
I think The Runaways and Cloak and Dagger come back in the fall as well.

This steaming service with hopefully year round MCU filler needs to hurry up and happen.
I could use a Damage Control series in the summer, AoS s7 in the spring
The Adventures of Rocket and Groot in the fall/Winter Break (it's a Xmas special), Howard the Duck's Spring Break Special (4 part mini-series)... it don't matter, just make it good/fun/exciting and I'm there.

Is AoS season 7 going to have a budget other than some string and a paper clip? Not that the story was any good...

I don't think Feige will be able to turn around MCUTV, TV is a very different beast and juggling so many balls insn't a good idea. I can't put my finger on what's wrong with MCUTV, maybe it's everything.

Much like Dini and Timm haven't touched the live action movies despite their immense talent, they know it is a different skill set they don't have. They could no doubt write an excellent script but lol any of the directors DC has chosen isn't going with their "Vision".

I dunno if you actually do Loki and Scarlett Witch with their respective actors they could turn it around. As for their choices I feel like they made the wrong choices. I would have done a Hawkeye spy series first. Maybe even a Hawkeye & Black Widow series. How they met.

I don't care for an Agent of Shields crossover. However, I do like the idea of a Young Avengers show, that incorporates someone like Falcon as the team leader...or even Scarlet Witch.

I recall someone saying a while ago that there would be no more Defenders. Maybe that's changed. Either way they better do it properly for the second season. What a waste of Sigourney Weaver.....

I would just love to see all the TV characters turn up for the final battle in Avengers 4. When all hope seems lost, Phil Coulson appears with all the TV heroes behind him. Probably not feasible from a story perspective but would still be amazing to see on screen. The ultimate nerd moment.

Netflix confirmed there are currently no plans for a Defenders S2. People suspect they may do some other crossover events instead like Heroes for Hire instead of a second Defenders season.

Well it seems like calling it Heroes for Hire might just be a format change for the Defenders. Like, instead of a season long villain have a series that splits the cast to heroes they might need for that challenge. I could see Dare Devil asking for help from Jessica Jones and she getting the idea to make money off the idea. Then creating a business model. Seems like away to do a new format either a season of 3-4 mini movies like Sherlock Holmes or a traditional 12 episode season where each story took place over 2 or 3 episodes allowing for a nice cliffhanger and tight storytelling. It could also help Netflix keep the cost down because they wouldn't need all the actors or supporting cast for each story.

Once it is on the Disney streaming service the violence will be toned down I think. Which personally I would like. I would love for the characters in the Netflix universe to be more easily foldable into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. You can have action without too much blood.

I don't think they will be taking the Netflix shows to the Disney service. They were produced by Netflix, so I'm imagining they either continue at Netflix or stop producing them and keep the content on Netflix, or they work out a shared arrangement.

Due the the more violent nature I imagine Disney doesn't mind keeping those shows there since the Disney-flix will need to be child/family friendly.

Jeff Loeb says that Defenders season 2 is still very possible. Might be with different characters but still very much on the table for a future project.

I am sure that the contract signed for Netflix is either for a set number of years, series, but I am sure Disney didn't give up the rights to develop their own series or at least use the characters in movies if they desire.

LC S2 was... meh
JJ S2 was... meh
IF S2 was actually enjoyable. S1 was a low bar to step over, but they decided to hop over ii anyway.
DD S3 so far sounds great.
I'm hoping that The Punisher S2 is at least as good if not better than S1.

I've only ever watched each season once, but from memory I'd suggest that Daredevil and Iron Fist are the only real obligatories as they both dealt with the Hand. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage were pretty much their own self contained stories. Obviously you won't really have any introduction to JJ and LC but it doesn't really matter. Their abilities are pretty generic.

I've watched Jessica Jones season 1 and it was flawed, I've watched part of Luke Cage season 1 but found it boring. I haven't watched Iron fist because Danny Rand seems horribly miscast.
