World of Goo Creators Bringing Little Inferno to Wii U
« on: July 31, 2012, 02:24:51 AM »

Look forward to the Wii U eShop title this winter.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/31163

Little Inferno is coming to the Wii U eShop later this year. It is being developed by some of the developers that brought us World of Goo and Henry Hatsworth who have joined forces under the name Tomorrow Corporation.

A teaser trailer was revealed, which features children burning their toys using a Little Inferno fireplace to stay warm in a world where it appears to constantly snow. The trailer also implies that the artistic style will be similar to that of World of Goo.

Check out the teaser trailer below.

No firm date was given other than a message stating that the game was "coming Winter 2012." Little Inferno is also coming to both PC and Mac.

Tomorrow Corporation is an indie development team made up of Kyle Gabler, Kyle Gray, and Allen Blomquist. The development studio was founded in 2010, but Little Inferno is the first game to come from the team.

Well, that video was not disturbing at all.  Not one bit.

Oh yeah, I know I have 2 sealed copies of that game.   1 is for trading.  But people who collect Amiibos?  They really have a problem!

That is one twisted trailer.
The kicker was the two close-ups near the end of individual toys screaming as they burned. Wow.

Day 1 WiiU buy.
Oui, Mon Gars!

You know, I'm wondering if they've actually finished the game, submitted to the ESRB, and gotten a rating.  Because is they don't have an ESRB rating, Nintendo won't allow it.  And if it gets an AO (Adults only), then Nintendo won't allow it.

So I'm guessing, unless these guys are completely stupid, that the game is nowhere near as effed up as that trailer.

hhhmmm I dont know if that was really all that jacked up. Worlds on a forever winter and fire is a much needed commodity. Although.... the toys screaming was a bit off... Regardless, I loved world of goo and their art style is all over this. First day buy for me :]

Yeh, that was something else alright.  Although I can't say it's a day1 purchased based on ... whatever that was.  It was entertaining though... does that say something wrong about me?
