Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will not be coming to any other Nintendo platforms other than Wii U. Previous years saw releases of Call of Duty on the Wii and DS, including last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

This news was confirmed by Coffee With Games when the writer contacted Activision and received the response: "In terms of Nintendo products, Black Ops II will just be on Wii U."

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 releases on the Wii U on launch day, November 18.

While I dont think anyone's disappointed in this, I'm kinda surprised.  Didnt the call of duties sell really well on DS/Wii, even though they had a much lower budget?  I figured it was almost free money.  Maybe sales declined last year/whenever they stopped?

I'm not completely disappointed with it, but I did like Revelaitons on the 3DS... granted it was more suspense than action.  I think a first person shooter could work well on it.  We'll have to wait and see what the first big fps is going to be on the 3DS.

Sales did decline quite noticeably over the years with COD on Wii.

To the point where Activion and Treyarch probably agreed that it wasn't worth it anymore (well below a million sales with MW3,) and I'm sure Nintendo aren't giving them any incentive to think otherwise, as they want hardcores to jump to Wii U as soon as possible.

Well gosh darn it, I really was hoping for a good bass fishing game for my 3DS.

well im not buying an NS6 til they give me games i want. i would buy BOII on the 3DS
but they have desided its not worth it. NO SECOND STICK im betting.
last year CoD only on DS, no 3DS and they gave the VITA, (epic fail again sony)
a port, so i can only assume they are so big they only support dual anolog and all
 else can bite it. 
FYI i have a 360 but dont plan on paying $50-60 a year to get my a$$ handed to me.
Yes i have BLK ops and MW3 on the DS.
FYI EA, IF u bring out a 3DS shooter, i'll buy it.
